About this cottage rental
Come stay with us for an unforgettable time with the best views around! Beach-front bonfires, cozy but comfortable units, wildlife viewing, stairs to the beach, good surfing, rooms for the dogs and kids to run and much much more! Searose Beach only has a handful of homes on it and the beach has limited public access near the Beachcomber. Often times the beach will be all yours. This stretch of coast is one of the most beautiful on the entire West Coast and we are located just a couple miles from charming Yachats, as well as close to the Sea lion Caves, Devils Churn, Yaquina Head, and many many other tourist sites. Dozens of hikes are nearby and great mountain biking roads as well as wild mushroom hunting spots abound.

The duplex cottage sits on a small bluff above a long, quiet beach that has basalt rock formations with tide pools. A large fire pit encourages outdoor gathering and the deck with picnic table is a really nice outdoor amenity. The galley kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes, cooking pans, appliances and spices. Nearby sights and activities including hiking around Cape Perpetua, Sea Lion Caves, Haceta Head Lighthouse and Sandland gave us plenty to enjoy.Two disclosed, and yet still surprising finds are the tiny-ness of everything in the only bathroom (tiny sink, tiny toilet, tiny shower) and the somewhat challenging (especially holding dog leashes) stairs/ladder access to the beach. This is a great budget friendly option for a beach vacation.

The cottage was clean and quaint. The best part was the location to the beach and the view! Was wonderful to see the pelicans fly right past our deck.

First, I must say that the view from our cottage was stunning. Couldn't have asked for better weather.
The cottage was cozy and clean. Any concerns and issues we experienced were handled quickly and efficiently. The management is very responsive and helpful
The kitchen is fairly updated and functions well. We were able to complete our scaled-down Thanksgiving dinner with only a little shuffling.
One startling thing we experienced was people walking between our 2 cottages at all hours. It felt a bit like they were walking in our backyard. This was aligned with the listing of shared amenities. Just a bit startling.

We were only there one night, but what a great place! The location is primo; right off the beach. You can hear the waves all the time! It was rainy the one night we were there, otherwise we would have loved to have had a fire in the outdoor fire-it off the deck. I wish we would have booked it more nights! Only issue was a screen was missing from upstairs room and someone had left the window open. Had to take care of a few flying ants upstairs but I'm sure that wouldn't have happened if the screen was in. When we are in the area again, I will definitely book it for at least 3 nights!!
