We loved this cozy cabin by the river! We each had a room and there were darling nooks for reading and relaxing in. The neighborhood was very family friendly! The walk along side the river to the ocean was serene and filled with birds bunnies and chipmunks! Although the pool was not open we really loved our stay and would definitely stay again !

This was our second stay at Heron House and we loved it just as much as our first visit. The house is well appointed with comfortable beds, a large dining room table, and a new comfy couch in the living room. It’s cozy but with plenty of space to spread out. The many window seat nooks are perfect for curling up with a book or afternoon naps. Quiet Water neighborhood is as described; quiet, serene and peaceful overlooking the Yachats River. We would stay here again without hesitation.

It would have been nice to know the neighbors were remodeling their house; the kitchen light was inoperable and the remote control was dead. we went and got batteries.
