Owner and stuff was very friendly and customer oriented, especially Zayn was informative, polite and service oriented. Very close to metro station M12 and M4. Direct connection to Expo de Versailles via M12.

Great location, great price point, great staff, great stay.

The owner and staff were simply terrific, extremely accommodating, highly responsive to our needs and requests, very cordial and friendly, and well-spoken in English. Zane even made a point of apologizing for street noise outside our window, when the nature of the noise was completely disjoint from the hotel and out of their control or influence. Upon check-in Zane and the owner immediately took our bags up the stairs; we don't know if that is standard for every guest, but at our age we had been a little apprehensive about the hotel not having an elevator, so of course our concerns were immediately put to rest. The hotel location is well served by local shops and by the Metro system, the hotel wi-fi works quite well, and there is an adjoining coffee bar and small restaurant immediately off the lobby (from which Zane offered us plates and dinnerware the night we came back from the nearby grocery store arms loaded with food for our eat-in dinner that night in our room).

Well, of course one understands that the size of the room and the nature of the furnishings can always be elevated if one is willing to spend a great deal more on the accommdation. But let's be clear: the room was perfectly suited for our needs, clean and well attended to, meaningfully equipped and at a terrific price point. We will use this opportunity to offer two suggestions to the owner: first, consider installing a hook on the back of the bathroom door for hanging one's post-shower robe or t-shirt; second, our room was equipped with a small refrigerator but we do not recall that this feature was included on the description we read when we made the reservation on booking.com.

A welcoming hotel in a vibrant neighborhood

The staff was very welcoming and kind. They introduced us to the city and ensured we had a comfortable stay.

The neighbourhood is very lively, however after 11pm it gets more quiet and luckily the windows are well insulated.

Ok for a cheap night definitely not for holidaying

Friendly staff. Large desk area.

Room very small and boiling hot although a fan was provided. Very noisy surroundings. Uber couldn’t access the property for some reason.

Very nice hotel, super friendly staff and convenient.

I was positively surprised by this hotel, as I am having almost 20 years of Paris hotel experience. The staff is super friendly, nice and helpful. Small touches like the complimentary bottle of water were also very appreciated. Rooms are small but clean and well furnished. The location is also very convenient: just a short walk from Line 4 and with several bus lines nearby, it was relatively easy to explore the city.

If I had to mention one downside, it’s that the room wasn’t fully soundproof — but that’s quite typical for Parisian hotels and didn’t detract much from the overall comfort of the stay.

Comfortable and safety, nice staf

A very comfortable and clean hotel with everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location — you can explore Paris on foot or use one of the nearby metro stations; there are also two train stations close by. I really liked the area around the hotel — it’s full of character and feels safe. I stayed for several days and walked back late at night after midnight without any issues. Stable WiFi connection which was extremely important for me as I was working remotely for a few days. The coffee was delicious. Thank you!

The second impression is what counts...😊

The hotel has two metro stops nearby. The room was small (single) with a private bathroom. The water pressure was very good. The room had a kettle with tea bags. The bed was very comfortable, and despite being on the first floor, the window overlooked an interior courtyard... it was very quiet. It's a hotel I would stay at again, for its price and comfort, and it's very well connected to the city's most iconic sites. The lady at reception was very kind and quickly resolved any questions I had. Thank you very much. I didn't ask for her name (I was very tired when I arrived), but your welcome was a nice touch upon arrival. Thank you very much.

The neighborhood isn't very pretty (it doesn't feel like Paris) and it's all geared toward the African community... although at night I've seen some jazz clubs in the surrounding area... I was a bit uneasy about returning to the hotel so late, but it was peaceful. You have to be careful, as in any city you're not familiar with.

Good value for money and bed was comfortable.

The area is very shady and I didn’t feel safe at night at all. The room was extremely stuffy and hot all day and night. Not good ventilation at all and no air conditioning or fan.

Mixed experience: friendly staff and good location, but serious issues with safety and room comfort

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. One thing that really stood out was the staff — everyone was kind, helpful, and always ready to assist. The Wi-Fi was stable, and breakfast was included. The metro is just a 5-minute walk away, and the street itself is pretty quiet due to very little car traffic.

Cons: 1. The biggest concern is the neighborhood. If you’re a woman, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. After sunset, some very sketchy people show up on the streets (you get the idea), and it honestly feels unsafe to be outside. 2. There was no housekeeping during our entire 4-day stay — not even a bottle of water was replenished. 3. The room was extremely small and felt cramped. Poor ventilation made it humid and stuffy most of the time. 4. The breakfast is a classic Parisian style — a croissant, bread with butter, and juice. It’s fine on day one, but by the second day, you’ll be craving protein and something more filling. There are additional options available, but for an extra cost. Only suitable if you plan to be out all day and need easy metro access — just avoid going out after dark.

החדרים קטנים מאד (כמקובל באיזור הזה), המדרגות צרות ואין מעלית (גם מקובל באיזור הזה), והיה קצת קושי בגישה למקלחון שהיה קטנטן ומוגבה והכניסה אליו היתה באמצעות שרפרף. מי שמתקשה בניידות עלול היה להיפגע.

Très bon accueil dans cette chambre simple et pratique

Chambre simple et fonctionnelle, idéale pour une nuit. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Bon petit déjeuner à un tarif très correct. L'accueil est également très sympathique.

La localisation est le point faible de cet hôtel, ce qui rend le tarif cohérent. Le quartier est agité et ne donne pas forcément envie de sortir le soir venu. La rue est bruyante jusqu'à un horaire assez tardif. Mais c'est un bon emplacement à 15 minutes à pied du Sacré-cœur.

Het personeel, met 1 uitschieter Zayn! Erg informatief en zeer toegankelijk voor gewoon ff een praatje. De kamer was prima, had weinig bagage dus twee verdiepingen met de trap omhoog was geen probleem.

Ik zou me kunnen voorstellen dat de buurt (vooral in de avond) intimiderend kan zijn, zelf had ik daar geen last van :-D Mijn werk bevindt zich in het 1e arrondissement dus met de fiets op en neer was op zich geen probleem.

La atención del personal, la calidez de la habitación.

El hotel se encuentra en un sector muy peligroso, los taxis ni siquiera querían llevarnos, el hotel es pequeño, las escaleras angostas, la habitación igual, apenas caben las cosas, una chica que nos atendió en cierto momento no hablaba inglés ni español, trajo un intérprete de la calle. No salimos en las noches por lo riesgoso del entorno

Zain à la réception a été très accueillant et chaleureux, ce qui a rendu ce court séjour plaisant.

Les inconvénients pour dormir ont été les bruits extérieurs et voisinage trop audibles ainsi qu'une salle de bain exigue.

Agréable et reposant

Accueil très sympathique, réception ouverte toute la nuit, l'hôtel est calme alors que le quartier est animé. La chambre était très propre, notamment la salle de bain et les WC. Le lit était confortable, tous les équipements fonctionnaient. Une bouilloire et du thé sont à disposition gratuitement dans la chambre ce qui est très appréciable.

Je n'ai pas d'amélioration à suggérer.

Chambre très propre. Manque peut-être la clim pendant la période caniculaire mais demanderait une montée en gamme. Petit déjeuner simple, de base mais bien (on peut avoir du rab). Personnels très bien et se préoccupent de notre bien être à l'hôtel. Quartier multi culturels sans problème.
