Hotel Le Montmartre - Saint Pierre

The room was extremely small and the website photos were very deceiving. There was not a proper door for the shower. I would never stay there again.

This hotel can be easily missed as it's in a commercial street where there can be shady people at night. The staff felt a bit clueless as they could not find our reservation at first but finally found us a room. The room felt quite small because of the low ceiling. The bathroom is open so there is no privacy if you are two in a room and one needs to shower. On their site the do mention they have "regular closed bathroom" but this was not the case. The toilet is also very small so it can be quite claustrophobic. In our room we had a window that opened and you could go to another room on the same level if their window was open. We also kept finding small glitter stickers on the floor, possibly from the previous guest. The female staff during breakfast was really nice and caring. Breakfast was simple but good enough. Hot food available was scambled eggs, sausage and bacon. But on the second day the scamble looked more like soup/ not cooked yet so we skipped it. Same staff that checked us in the previous day was then talking to us in another language which just proved that male staff was really not paying attention to us... and made me think he was new. There was also another older male staff at the reception but wouldn't even greet people when we greeted them. The room I feel was overpriced for the area and service provided but if you are going to a concert at Elysee Montmatre this can be a last resort. I don't see any other reason to stay here.
