JOIVY Exclusive 2-Bedroom Villa with Private Garden - 5 minutes from the Colosseum

Amazing location and plenty of room for our family! After leaving boutique hotel in Paris, this was the second leg of our unforgettable family vacation but we needed more room after being in such tight quarters in Paris. This place had plenty of room and just what we needed! The only drawback is the restaurant next door can be sometimes loud but honestly after doing all the sights and the exhaustion each day.. we slept fine. Tons of restaurants nearby and although influencers will say how restaurants at close to tourist spots are not as good, we got exceptional iced coffees from the snack shop nearby.. (yes for us Americans) and the breakfast at the corner restaurant on left side was fabulous. Would highly recommend this stay!

The location was great, it was very spacious for a central location and was very easy to find. We were first guests to the new managing organization so there were some bumps on the road - but they greeted us with prosecco for apology.

There was coffee, but no coffee maker. Also, the restaurant back yard is right next to the accommodation backyard, so at night when they were closing it was very very noisy with glass breaking sounds and people yelling at each other. It was difficult to get some good sleep.

Great location, only a few minutes to Colosseum which enabled us to walk there after diner to see the night view. Property has good air conditioning systems which makes summer stay very pleasant. Staff response to messages promptly.

4pm check in time is a bit late compared to with all my experiences with other accomodations in Europe.

Die Unterkunft besticht durch ihre Lage, da es nicht dichter zum Forum Romanum und Colosseum geht. Das hat uns sehr gefreut.

Die Unterkunft war leider ungepflegt und nicht sauber. Vor allem die Küche und das unteres Bad. Eine von drei Klimaanlagen war defekt. Lüften war kaum möglich, da die Umgebungsgeräusche (Lüftungsanlagen umliegender Restaurants - 69dB dauerhaft-9:30-0:00 Uhr) unfassbar laut waren und sich auch in die Unterkunft übertragen haben. Der Garten war aufgrund der Lautstärke ebenfalls nicht nutzbar. Auch hier wirkte alles lieblos und ungepflegt. Mit ein wenig Pflege könnten die Unterkunft besser sein. Wir hatten während des gesamten Aufenthalt keinen persönlichen Kontakt zum Vermieter. Niemand hat sich nach uns erkundigt oder einen Service angeboten.
