Unreliable host, no access to property AVOID!

Despite the owner messaging previously asking about check in and answering questions. We arrived and had zero check in details so could not access the property. Very poor service. We were stranded without anywhere to stay.

After over 2 hours the owner finally messaged saying ge had no idea we were coming which was a direct contradiction as we had messages from him confirming details. He didn’t answer phone calls or messages for over 2 hours. Terrible situation, nowhere to stay, we had our large dog snd then it went dark. No offer of compensation just standard refund from booking

Amazing apartment, beautiful seaside destination!

Location, the property itself. Lots of space very large rooms. WiFi, Sky TV. Alexa Amazon media connection. Comfortable chairs, sofas and particularly the Beds. The amazing views over the sea, beaches and cliffs out of the huge lounge bay window. Plenty of quality restaurants to eat plus nice pubs. Saltburn by the Sea is a quaint seaside resort without the hustle and bustle of somewhere like Scarborough or Whitby. We had a great few days here and will definitely return!

Spacious, fully equipped and amazing view apartment.

The apartment is facing the sea. The facility is amazing. Owner replied promptly to any issues. Size is very spacious. Facility is fully equipped.

Some radiators are not working. The owner quickly responded but unable to arrange for technician. But the unit has 2 extra electric heaters, which is more than enough to heat the room. Luckily, the weather was not too cold. Also the cupboard in the bed with bunk bed need adjustment since it is very difficult to open or close it's doors.

Relaxing

Spotlessly clean and the photos were exactly as it looked in reality. Very spacious and particularly liked the chairs and coffee tables positioned in the bay window to enjoy the magnificent view. Handy for the shops and the beach and the restaurants.

Just perfect!

The Captains Deck is a fantastic place to stay! Easy access and smooth arrival. The view from the living room is amazing with a lovely sitting area by the window. All the furniture and fittings are of very high quality. It feels like a luxury stay. The kitchen is exceptionally clean and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and good quality bedding and pillows. Both bedrooms are large and we had plenty of room for 6 of us. The bathrooms are also spotless and high quality facilities. The balcony was an extra treat with plenty of comfortable places to sit and a large table. Looking straight out to the sea! In a nutshell this was a perfect stay for us to celebrate my Birthday. We met Pete, the owner as we were leaving

No complaints at all. Perfect. Thanks Pete. We I’ll definitely stay here again.
