City Air

Excellent location in the heart of Ladadika, within walking distance of countless bars, restaurants and the shops of Tsimiski Street. Well-equipped apartment with everything needed for a short stay, including a washing machine. Clean, practical and comfortable enough as a base for exploring Thessaloniki. Good access to the city centre and all major attractions.

The soundproofing was the biggest issue. Noise from nearby clubs, bars and bouzoukia venues continued until the early morning hours, making it difficult to sleep. Traffic noise from the surrounding streets was also noticeable, especially when opening the windows. Noise insulation between apartments was poor, and conversations from neighbouring guests could be heard very clearly. The apartment would benefit from some refurbishment and maintenance in a few areas. Only one pillow per guest was provided. A spare pillow would have improved comfort. The insect screens on the windows were damaged and there were numerous cockroaches visible outside around the windows and balcony area. None entered the apartment during our stay, but it made us hesitant to open the windows. The bathroom extractor appeared not to be working properly and external noise was noticeable through the ventilation grille. TV channel selection was very limited, with few attractive viewing options and no access to the Greek channels we had hoped to watch. Due to the busy location, smells from nearby restaurants and barbecue grills occasionally entered the apartment when the windows were opened.

Amazing view and while outside you can here loud music from the nearby clubs, the apartment inside is completely sound proof! Definitely hope to be back there sometime.

Достойное жильё, есть всё необходимое. Чисто, комфортно, несколько минут ходьбы до исторического центра. Вокруг много баров и ресторанов. Владельцы предоставляют всю необходимую информацию, отвечают на все вопросы. В качестве комплимента в квартире были вода, кофе и немного закусок.

Есть ощущение, что каждую ночь за окном проходит "Евровидение": репертуар соответствующий, громкость звука тоже. Балкон выходит прямо на дискотеку, которая находится в паре сотен метров на крыше одного из расположенных рядом домов. Вечеринка набирает обороты каждый день в час ночи и продолжается до раннего утра, во сне приходится пританцовывать. Вряд ли хозяева могут с этим что-то поделать, это не их вина, но людям с чутким сном это знать всё же следует. Важное замечание: кондиционеры работают только с полностью закрытыми окнами и балконом, поэтому не повторяйте наших ошибок :)

Very centrally located close to places to eat and drink and short walk to historic centre. Host was excellent and very helpful sorting an issue immediately. Compact but well equiped accommodation.

The only minor issue was that the exact location is close to a couple of clubs and there was some late noise noise from that area
