Relax Suites Extended Stay - La Mirada

This place is a dump. Everything is falling apart. Rooms smell like people have been smoking. Beds are very uncomfortable. They gave away my reservation. Nothing works. It was so bad, that we did not even stay the night, and we left a few hours after checking in to another place. People smoking are smoking at the entrance and inside the hotel. Pets roaming around. Horrible experience

The place appeared to be a low income full-time residence for many people. The hallways smelled of marijuana and cigarettes. The room was filthy, wreaked of smoke, had one pillow that looked used. We had one hand towel to use for showering.

The parking was awful and sheriff was patrolling the area. Lots of sketchy looking people outside. I got there and waited with all my bags in the front desk for ~20 minutes. The place smelled funky. Hallways very dimly lit. There was nowhere to sit. It looked drastically different from the pictures. Two women before me in the lobby were upset. One was coming from the room she had just checked into and was complaining that the bed was dirty, had hairs, had a warm mildewy smell, the floors were nasty. But she already had all her stuff up in the room with her and had someone assist her. The guy behind the desk was there by himself and walked away from the lobby to go upstairs. Didn’t announce where he was going and just left. Comes back and tells the lady I went to change the sheets for you. She’s complaining about how he could have communicated this to her and had her come with him so she could verify this. While in the middle of check in, had to go back to my car before even checking in for my license plate # with all my bags and back to the lobby because there was nowhere to set them down. I left my bags in my car and was so uncomfortable as there was a man cat calling me as I walked back. There was dog poop along the walkway, the front door smelled heavily of concentrated dog piss. At this point, if I cancel I get charged so I decided to get my work on my laptop done and leave. I get into the room and it’s not much better. There’s stains on the wall. It smells like hamsters. I pull back the sheets….there’s hair. The carpet? Not vacuumed this week or the last week. There’s also dog kibble by the furniture. Paint splatters on the furniture. Restroom? There’s TP and soap but fruit flies and gnats buzzing around. There’s a dead spider by the mirror and a tiny baby cockroach crawling up the wall. I checked the mattress for bedbugs and it seemed ok. Checked outlets, furniture, and curtains too. They seemed ok.

Absolutely nothing.

I didn’t like anything.

Dirty, bad smell, people using drugs outside the building, I felt insecure, the carpets in the rooms stained dirty, all the walls scratched, not picking up this place, dirty everything, dirty towels in my room when I arrive, the worst experience of my life.

Bed sheets were dirty there was brown stains and ciggeratte burns in them. Kitchen was dirty tv remote didn't work and room reeked of Marijuana. 2nd room I requested was slightly better considering no Marijuana smell.

The manager didn't fight me to get a refund

Cockroaches everywhere, bed broken down they put me in a room that housekeeping only had made the bed, picture was sitting on a shelf not attached to the wall the mirror was sitting on the dresser not attached to the wall you can smell The raid that was sprayed in there they tried to put me in another room on a different floor and the second you walked in it smelled of warm mildew

It was dirty, smelly, a lot of people living there were on drugs, one of the staff mentioned that someone got killed there recently, a lot of gang members there. Overall unsatisfied!

I was not given a room, their system was down or something, the person at the front desk told me to wait an hour to see what they can do, this is at 11 at night. I need a refund

Nothing at all not 1%. If you’re reading DO NOT BOOK! First they gave us a room that was not cleaned at all and if so, they need better maids. Requested a different room, just to see cockroaches, cigarette burns..

They need to find better management, Hotel is literally a crack house. DO NOT STAY OR BOOK AT THIS LOCATION. Also requested a refund after seeing everything wrong and dirty, denied $100 refund and does not show on website anything about refund.

The rooms were clean, the daily rate is reasonable, the manager was extremely helpful. I do not agree what other guests say about this hotel. It is a very large complex. The fire alarms go off when dumb guests smoke in their room which is prohibited. I will stay here again. No pet fee. La Quinita charges a pet fee of $25 a day which Bookings does not inform you of. Full kitchen with a large refrigerator unlike all the other hotels that have small refrigerator a third of the size of a normal refrigerator. Plenty of handicapped parking spaces. Very friendly staff unlike other hotels who think they are doing you a favor by selling you a room.

Not much. Other hotels should their lead with reasonable rates and no pet fee. $25 a day for ant Wyndam hotel is plain ridiculous.

Very many people that probably live there month-to-month… Many many had dogs and when I went to walk my service dog, I saw that nobody picked up the Waste from their dogs on the property… The room was not that clean. The only thing I felt safe touching was after I disinfected the knobs, etc.… the floors were in a huge need of mopping doesn’t look like it’s been done in months and months

It was a horrible stay. I found bedbugs in the bed with me and my two children. I would never return to this place ever again.

Everything I was uncomfortable I was itching. My children were comfortable. It just wasn’t worth the stay.

Sucio y no es nada real a las fotos del lugar ,me he hospedado en esta cadena de hoteles en otros estados y la verdad quedé muy decepcionada

Nada, dicen que no se fuma y desde afuera en la puerta de entrada fuman y en las habitaciones fuma mariguana.

Que hacen droga y mucho ruido. Y no es lo que se dice en su perfil. Engañan a los clientes
