Driftwood - Hornsea Town House with Sea Views and Balconies

Spacious and modern three storey town house right across the road from the seafront. Very large dual aspect covered balconies. Secure off road parking for two cars. Great comms with owner. Short 5 minute walk into Hornsea town centre which has some great bars, restaurants, cafes & independent shops.

Nothing really. We had family members aged from 20 - 80+ in our group so the following feedback is influenced by that. The ground floor - which is like a mini studio - was perfect in lots of ways for our older relative but would benefit from having a fridge in the ground floor kitchen (in addition to the large fridge in the main kitchen on the top floor) and a more substantial bed.

Lovely clean house in a great location. Hosts were very responsive and helpful to pre-arrival queries. Kitchen well equipped. Had everything we needed. Good private parking. Easy access/entry. Balconies were great and made such a difference to our holiday. Good size rooms.

Mattresses were hard and springy - had to sleep on duvet. Pillows not comfy and flat. Needs a stair handrail that you can hold securely e.g. a round pole. Shower water pressure not very good.

Knew when we arrived we would enjoy our stay, location and off road parking was great. Very modern, clean and spacious, both kitchens very well equipped and the views from both balconies on the top floor kitchen/spacious living area were just perfect. Good to have 3 bathrooms including one on the ground floor and to an exceptional standard, we loved the showers and enough for us all to use easily (lots of bath towels !) Bedrooms very comfortable and spacious, ample storage and mirrors were a great help. Loved everything we would definitely book again and highly recommend

Good Location and clean facilities

Not suitable for anyone with toddlers, needs at least 4 stair gates, and a non-slip mat for the 3 showers. No hooks on any cloakrooms so unbale to hang up cloths to uit on. Not a single coat hook in the place so if coats are wet would have to be placed on furniture. Lack of Mirrors in bedrooms. NO washing machine or dryer so don’t take kids! Lack of kitchen utensils cooking dishes. No kiddies’ cups, but plates and bowls. Could have done with a few spare toilet rolls. More cleaning products needed, in each bathroom, and kitchen if you want guest to keep the place clean. Not a single shaving socket. It would be good for the owners to live there for a week with a family and see for themselves what's missing/lacking.
