1 Lane Head

Spent four nights with a family of five. Very good location, minutes away from the lake and the high road. The property was spacious and clean as expected, and towels were provided. The kitchen had all the equipment and cutlarys needed. The view was breathtaking. There was parking space outside the property enough for two cars. The owner left clear instructions about the property and usage of equipment, along with a guide to local amenities, which was nice. The pictures on the sites do not do justice. A good collection of DVDs and books.

The walk-up Fisherbeck lane was a bit steep, but then you expect some hilly area for Lake District. We were disappointed to find half a toilet roll but went prepared reading another review. It would have been nice to start off with at least two rolls. The beds were noisy every time you moved, mainly the double bed in the main bedroom. Would recommend a changing them. The house could do some modernisation and updated furniture or maybe it's meant to be like this.

House was brilliant very clean everything was perfect. Views was the best thing. Everything was close by
