I usually don’t leave reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. It’s a huge apartment, perfect for four people, exceptionally clean, and the balcony alone deserves a separate review. Relaxing there after a long day visiting the Vatican or the Colosseum was one of the highlights of our trip. Staying here definitely made our visit to Rome twice as enjoyable. Sogliano was also incredibly helpful and kindly allowed us to check in at 12:00 instead of the official 14:00 check-in time, which was a very pleasant surprise. We were traveling with two motorcycles and parked them outside in the neighborhood. No one paid them any unwanted attention, which is quite remarkable in Rome, a city known for motorcycle theft. 10/10. If I return to Rome in the near future, I’ll check the availability of this place first before looking anywhere else.

It’s not that I didn’t like anything about the place, but there are two things worth mentioning. First, the location. For us, it was actually great. The bus stops are right in front of the building, on the other side of the road. However, getting to the city center takes around 20–30 minutes by bus. Normally, that wouldn’t be a problem, but Rome (and Italy in general) is known for bus driver strikes and a public transportation system that can be difficult for tourists to understand. That was the case during our stay as well. Buses were on strike and seemed to arrive randomly, if at all. This wouldn’t be much of an issue if the apartment were located in the city center, but since it’s on the outskirts of Rome, it’s something worth considering. Personally, I still preferred staying outside the center rather than in it. The second thing is very minor and more of a recommendation for Sogliano. I noticed that none of the rooms had locks, not the bedrooms and not even the bathrooms. I don’t know if there is a specific reason for that, and it wasn’t a big deal for us, but it did feel a little unusual. I think having locks on the room doors would be a nice addition, although there may be a reason why they’ve been removed.

Se trata de un apartamento completo con dos habitaciones, me sorprendió pues era bastante grande y amplio, la sala da a una gran terraza donde puedes disfrutar al aire libre. Tiene todo lo necesario para sentirte como en casa, tiene cerca un supermercado, fruterías, tiendas de alimentación, restaurantes y varias paradas de buses. Todo excelente.

Roma es 2 veces el tamaño de Madrid, y el piso está ubicado en el extrarradio, en cualquier dirección tardas unos 40-50 minutos para llegar a tu destino si vas en transporte público, pero una vez te costumbras los traslados se hacen más llevaderos.
