VIP Executive Suites do Marquês Hotel

The rooms are really spacious and modern with a separate bedroom and separate lounge / dining area. We were 3 adults so used the sofa bed in the lounge and was great to have a bit more floor space rather than squeezing us all in one room. In-room fridge and plates/glasses handy for breakfast and cooling wine! The pool on the roof was welcome after a day out. It’s not huge but big enough for a quick cool off. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel or use the bar so can’t comment. Staff were helpful and friendly. We love walking so didn’t mind that the hotel is a little away from the super touristy areas. It meant we explored some beautiful side streets and found some hidden gems.

Slightly amused that only “half” the sofa bed was set up as a bed….but a minor comment on an otherwise great stay.

We liked a lot the room and the position of the hotel in the city. It is very close to nice restaurants, pubs to have an amazing breakfast or brunch and the staff is always helpful with tips.

None, everything went well for us.
