Wonderful gem in the Aosta Valley

I loved the proximity to the slopes. The cleanliness and modern styling. The comfortable bed and furnishings. The service and the host checking in with us to ensure we're doing okay. The place also has parking which is easily accessible and a room dedicated to storing skis and drying boots. It even has a boot dryer.

Some minor issues with communication. I'd suggest clarification on "breakfast" as "provided by the host during cleaning where your food is restocked for the day". But otherwise no major issues.

Amazing little property with stunning views!

We were contacted ahead of arrival and given our access code and telephone number. There is free secure parking at the accommodation. On arrival we were met and showed to our room....wow, we were on the 3rd floor and were blown away by the views!! There was a little balcony so that you could sit and listen to.the water of the river that literally runs alongside. There were stunning views from all 3 windows/doors and a very special little touch on the higher window which had a remote control curtain allowing you to see the top of the mountain whilst looking out from the bathroom!! The room was spotlessly clean, had a coffee machine and kettle, and a full fridge as well as a basket of savoury food and fruit for breakfast. The shower was brilliant, room cleaned and towels changed daily... we couldn't have wanted for more! Even a hairdryer... There was an entry pad to get through the gate, into the premises, and into the room...so no key to worry about and made checking out a seamless process. An added bonus was that the family also own the restaurant next.door, great for dinner or a nightcap! We would recommend to anyone 😊

We’re super happy about our choice to stay at the hotel La Racine.

The hotel is new, clean, very cozy, good located (in the city center). There are a lot of nice restaurants, Italian charcuterie shops nearby. You will always find snacks in your hotel room that will be your breakfast or you can eat them during the day, take them with you on the mountains.

It gets a little bit noisy in the evening because of the bar downstairs.

Wonderful place

Modern. cosy, clean. Equipped with everything you need. Central location. 10 min. to ski lifts. If we go back to La Thuile it will definitely be our choice again.

Bra men alldeles för dyrt.

Otroligt fräscht och välstädat. Bastu på rummet var härligt. Parkering och skidrum utmärkt. Kylen fylldes på varje dag med vatten och frukost. Sängen var bekväm. Läget mig i byn jättebra.

Kunde varit trevligt med färskt bröd till frukost. Allt var plastförpackat vilket var lite trist. Det saknades en bekväm stol eller soffa i rummet vi hade. Vi saknade en lobby eller något gemensamhetsutrymmen vi kunde samlas i, vi var fyra i familjen som åkte tillsammans. Tyvärr måste jag säga att rummen, trots att de var jättefräsch, var kraftigt överprissatta. Varje rum kostade ca 3500 kr per natt vilket är alldeles för mycket givet de faciliteter som erbjöds.

Le petit déjeuner, je m’attendais à un buffet à volonté à ce tarif, mais ce n’était pas mauvais pour autant et la quantité était largement suffisante.
