7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
Good car park Good shower/bathroom Quiet Reasonable size room
No breakfast Small bin in room had not been emptied at start of my stay Host promised me room 8 but room was not available when I arrived. I was offered a similar room but for £10 extra per night. The fact that the room would not be available was not communicated to me in advance of my arrival nor was the extra £10 per night charge. This was very disappointing and did not give me a warm glow.

Walkable into the high street. Quiet cul de sac off the high street. The kitchenette in the room was a plus. Living room in the building was great for us to bring a takeaway (only a couple of evening dinner options).
The kitchenette meant there was no cupboard for clothes, only a holder for hangers. There is a mirror only in the bathroom not in the room.

Was a cosy stay, everything what do you need was there, a comfortable bed, it was clean and there were no spider nets (which is important for me), provided shampoo, shower gel, milk in the fridge what was which is very thoughtful. Pubs, restaurants in 5 minutes walk.
Everything was good.

Spacious clean, comfortable room. Shower room good.
Probably my mistake but thought it had a kitchen and we brought food which needed cooking but not by microwave.
