Hot tub wasn’t under cover. It would have been nice if it was in a shed. It rained for the whole duration of our stay. I booked with the intention of using g the hot tub, unfortunately the rain never stopped

A few days exploring the Cotswolds!

It's a lovely room in a lovely warm house with friendly cats and a dog. Bryony is friendly and helpful and just let's you get on with your travels! The hot tub is fantastic and the location of the house near Tewkesbury and the villages of a part of the Cotswolds, is great. It's great value for money too.

Good value, convenient location

Very friendly and helpful host, even though we didn't meet. Bryony was very trusting letting us stay in her house, whilst she was away. We walked to the pub only 10 nins away and were back on the M5 in 10 mins the next day.

Our room was fine, but the bed was too soft and bouncy for our liking

Staying at Hazelnut House was amazing! Literally from Home to Home with everything we needed. Bryony was very friendly and welcoming (the Cookies were delicious!) and the room was spacious, comfortable and surprisingly very quiet. The Birthday decorations were very much appreciated. Thank you

Bryony was very friendly and welcoming and my room was spacious, very comfortable and quiet. Both my room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. The off-road parking was a bonus for me and very much appreciated.

Amazing, homely, comfortable!

Everything!! From the warm welcome on arrival, to freshly baked cookies to a spa in the back yard! What more could you want. Facilities were great and clean, super comfortable and homely and loved the basket in the bathroom with bits of you forgot something. Highly recommend. Walking distance to pubs which was great. Great location for passing through to the Cotswolds.

Location perfect for a wedding we attended at sudeley castle. Village great & local pub fox & hounds excellent food . Briony the owner was lovely she even drove us to the wedding which was above & beyond our expectations.

Peaceful stay in Cotswold suburbs

Really thoughtful & considerate host. Comfortable bed. Quiet & clean. Well supplied with hospitality essentials, hairdryer, etc. Hot tub in the garden! Friendly pets. Free parking.

The room is upstairs, so if you have a big suitcase, be prepared to take it up a narrow staircase. The dog can be a bit cheeky - it snuck its way onto our bed when we left the door open. It's obviously a well-kept/ clean pet, so we just found it funny, but if someone doesn't like dogs then they might want to let the owner know so she can keep him away. He at least had the decency to look guilty when we found him 🤣

Just what we needed after a very busy day shopping

Spacious bedroom with separate private bathroom. We arrived to plenty of tea and coffee supplies and some home made brownie bites, which was a lovely touch. Lovely bright bedroom and the separate bathroom even had a basket of supplies “just in case you forgot” from sanitary products to shampoo and conditioner. Very good for the money.

I think the only two things missing from the bedroom for us, was a stool for the dressing table and a tv. Neither major things and we did perfectly well without them but would have been nice touches.

Nothing except the hot weather, which is very much not your fault! I might suggest a blind or a net for the front window perhaps as I was very aware of a young girl in her room in the house opposite.

Perfect stop off

The location was great for a half way stop for Cornwall. Nice village location with places to eat. Lovely host and the room was spacious, clean and quiet. Tea/coffee in room, with homemade biscuits. Shower gels, hair products etc in the bathroom.

The accommodation did broadly what it said - It offered us a comfy, clean bed for the night.

The bed was super comfy. Car parking on site guaranteed. Home made cookies were a nice touch

Lack of clarity regarding exactly what facilities were available for us to use - e.g. a dining table was listed but it was unclear as to when or if it might be available. We were not aware of the dog and cats in the property from the property listing - fortunately neither of us is allergic to cats or dogs.

Super comfortable and welcoming

The room was incredibly comfortable and there were lots of thoughtful little touches to make everything extra comfortable (e.g. homemade cookies, nice soap and supplies like cotton wool balls and tissues in the bathroom). There was a friendly welcome but it was also peaceful and quiet with my own space.

The most comfortable stay on Booking.com

It was such a warming and pleasurable stay, Bryony made us feel so at home, with such a beautiful home it was, with two adorable cats and a cute dog it was such a good place to go. Room was clean, showers were clean, the bed is so comfy, and plus the cookies were to die for ! Definitely will be back or recommending to our friends, we booked here because we were travelling up from Kent to work nearby.

Absolutely the perfect stopover for a lone female traveller.

The price paid did not meet the expectation in the sense that the property was worth more than the price paid. It warranted at least an additional £20 I think. It is an excellent location for a stop-over from north to south Copious amount of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water and so on were provided. There was a basket in the bathroom of toiletries, in case a guest had forgotten something. This was more than was necessary, but the fact that they were provided made me feel very welcomed. There were two pets in the house and both were extremely well-behaved. The bed was very clean and comfortable. There was a private bathroom for my sole use and it was spotlessly clean with new fixtures. Parking was easy.

I love animals but have to limit my exposure due to allergic reactions. For that reason I could not have stayed for more than one night. I have to say though that the two animals were delightful and both very gentle creatures who did not bother me in the slightest.

Vriendelijke gastvrouw

Bryony is een hele vriendelijke gastvrouw en doet haar best om je verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Haar huisdieren zijn heel lief en sociaal. Gebruik maken van het strijkijzer en -plank is bijvoorbeeld geen probleem.

Helaas begon de hond 's nachts plotseling hard te blaffen. Daar schrok ik behoorlijk van, en het duurde even voordat ik weer in slaap viel. De kamerdeur kan helaas niet op slot. De gordijnen zijn licht van kleur, waardoor het daglicht 's ochtends gemakkelijk de kamer binnenkomt. Als je het fijn vindt om bij mensen thuis te logeren, is deze locatie een goede optie! Voor mij persoonlijk kies ik voortaan liever voor een hotel of B&B.
