The location was excellent, right on the beach and 3 mins from the old town, and on the doorstep for bars and restaurants.

The work being carried out on the property (building as a whole) - the schedule was showing only work on the 6th and 7th floor at the time of our stay, but we were woken on the Monday morning early with work being carried out above our sea-view balcony to a workman's hoist up the side of the building and workmen drilling, cementing new tiles and maintenance to the balconies. We could not take advantage of the balcony and view due to dust, cement, and netting so the price paid to have a sea view was taken away and was money NOT well spent. However the letting agents once I got in touch offered a discount, but we shuld have been told ahead of booking that work was being carried out - 2 of the 3 lifts were not working, the building was wrapped in netting to a large extent, and workmen working from 7am until 3 or 4pm during the week, meaning no privcy in your apartment if you wanted it. Overall Marbella is lovely and the beach
