Der "Hausmeister" vor Ort, der auch die Schlüsselübergabe macht ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Als die Außensteckdose für den Elektrogrill nicht funktioniert hat, hat er noch spät eine Kabeltrommel von ihm privat vorbeigebracht.
Der Grill war ziemlich schmutzig. Super wären Sonnenschirme die man an den Strand mitnehmen kann bzw wäre auch super wenn auf der Terrasse eine zusätzliche Beschattung wäre. Am Nachmittag kein Schatten.

For us this was an amazing experience. We were looking for a quite place far from noisy city life where one could really relax and this is exactly what we got. Except the the sound of the sea and some birds and occasionally cars from a near by village there was a complete peace ideal for early morning coffee at the terrace or evening glass of wine while watching an amazing sunset. In a walking distance there was a small family Tavern where the menu changed daily depending on what actually the owner has came up with - all fresh and tasty. The disadvantage was a distance to the nearest shop (about 20 minute drive) however, we were prepared and we did some shopping in advance. The pool was cleaned daily and we could always ask for fresh towels and bed linen. The hosts were amazing and really friendly. One thing one may take into account is the distance from the airport. This tranquility however comes with the price and it's a distance from the airport. It's only 84km from the Chania airport however it took us 1h45m to get there due to the fact that the road crosses the mountains and it's really twisty. On a positive however I count the proximity to the Elafonisi Beach which was only 18 minutes away. Overall it was an amazing stay and who knows, we might come back there someday.
I cannot complain at all but one has to be prepared for a local fauna and flora. Bear in mind to keep open only the windows equipped with mosquito nets otherwise you can find unwanted guests like centipede, or a scorpion (tiny one but still).
