About this villa rental
If you are looking for something really special, for something really unique you will be here at the right place. The property offers what its name promises: A magnificent view over the bay of Kampos (Afrotolakous) with its wonderful pebble beach surrounded from an impressive and unspoilt landscape. Our natural stone Villa, built in a traditional style, is a 140 square meter single-storey building. The fully equipped open floor kitchen, dinning and living spaces are open to the terrace and to an amazing spacious garden area with a new infinity pool, which offers you large space for outdoor playing and entertainment. The beach of Kampos is a 6 minute walk.
Our Villa Magical View offers place for 4 to 5 people. It has two bedrooms – one with a double bed and the en suite bathroom with toilet and shower and the other with two single beds. The other spacious bathroom is equipped with a bathtub with massage jets. The dinning and living room seats 6 people comfortably. All rooms have air conditioning. Furthermore the Villa offers Sat TV and internet access.
We are also pleased to offer you a welcome package for your first breakfast and welcome you to taste our homemade wine and raki.
We would like to inform our guests about the newly updated Climate Resilience Tax by the Greek Government in 2025. Since we meet the category of a 5-star hotel with Villa Magical View, the amount is 15.00 euros per night. We collect the amount for the entire stay in cash upon arrival.

It is a huge view and the longest horizon I can remember seeing. There is an abandoned building project next door but this does not detract from the incredible setting. The house is very well set up and the extra child bed in the second bedroom worked well. There is so much space both indoors and outdoors. The pool was also perfect for us. You are quite far from much of Crete so best if you want to switch off, relax and spend time in the house and the empty beach nearby. A few very good tavernas about 10-15mins away in the car. Birgitta is also the perfect host. 5 stars all round !!!!!

There are two great positives about this property, the brilliant property manager (who could not have been more helpful) and the outside facilities (great pool, nice outside furniture and of course the view). On the negative side, the inside of the property is less attractive. I appreciate style is a matter of personal taste (I’d describe the look as ‘Gothic horror meets Haunted house) but uncomfortable furniture was disappointing. The most important aspect of a stay at this villa is its location. It is REMOTE. If you are Greta Garbo and ‘want to be alone’ it would be perfect. If on the other hand you like to walk to local shops and tavernas then this is not the place for you. My number one tip would be to ensure you shop in Chania before you set off and bring every bit of food and drink you need for your stay with you. Whether you feel like you have found your perfect oasis or you feel like you are under house arrest will depend on the success of that shopping trip.
