Caravan on a working Farm

The caravan was in the farm yard but this was not a problem for us. Animal and tractor noises also not a problem for us but it may be for some people. The caravan was a little dated and felt a bit tired. The double bed in the main bedroom had a memory foam mattress that sat on a homemade wooded frame. I don't like these mattresses as they can be very warm. The caravan was clean and was kitted out with most things that you need. Main gripe would be that the little patch of grass at the side of the caravan, is ideal for sitting out or at least it would be if it wasn't the farm dog's toilet. O yes, there are three dogs!. The dogs are lovely though. There was no one to meet us when we arrived (except the dogs) and we just tried the caravan door and it had been left open. The family were at a wedding so an email would have been appreciated to let us know. There was also no one available when we departed so just left the key inside the house door. It is also important to report that on most days the water supply stopped for a short time. This occurred late afternoons. Last thing, there would be some lovely views from the back of the caravan but the greenery blocks it. Shame!

Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms

Being so close to the dung heap on the farm wasn’t ideal, was very smelly.

Lovely peaceful location. The caravan is a home from home. Comfortable and clean. Surrounded by the countryside with true farmyard noises. The falls are within walking distance and you can buy food and gifts in the villlage. Great base for days out and my dogs loved it. Plenty of fields to walk them in. The farm dog was very cute (see pic) wanted to steal her lol. Said no WiFi but there was great WiFi too!

There was nothing that I didn't like about this place

Very clean and well equipped , lovely family myself and my dog had a very enjoyable stay The caravan is on a farm

Would have been nice to have a side table that wasn't wobbly , it wasn't broken just the design I think Also the intermittent cold drinking water supply I understand it was low pressure Remote control for the television needed batteries and an umbrella for sitting outside in the sun would have been nice
