Close to amenities, and friends

No mirror in bathroom, some areas poorly finished, no hand brush, no broom, poor cleaning , cupboard's full of dust when fitted, Not enough towels, no spare sheet's for bed. Towel rail required, no clothes hangars.

Decoration seemed to be half finished. Needs a mirror over sink in bathroom. Bathroom needs the decoration finished to a better standard. Television still had previous guests log in details for ITV - channel 4 etc so couldn’t watch it.

The Lytham St Annes location and the Cafe at the end of the road - 200 yards away ! And from there paths to the centre. And the good weather. A good central location for visiting the local area.

When booking I selected onsite parking. I booked 19 Fairhaven but we stayed in 4 Fairhaven - no one told us of the change - looking at the E-mails now, the first confirms we are staying at No. 19; one early E-mail mentions both & subsequent ones all refer to No. 4 ! It had no onsite parking for us - although there was for some people ! But one of them got blocked in !! Surely we should have been informed of the change & been asked if it was acceptable ?? The bedroom had a double bed next to a wall - not easy for the one by the wall to go to the toilet in the night, without disturbing your partner !! I don't think the original (No.19) showed a bed next to a wall. The TV had been switched to Spanish as the default language - so all menu's are in Spanish. And all terrestrial channels had subtitles on - I tried all the controller buttons with no joy. I E-mailed Guestz (the owners) but they had no suggestions - they requested pictures & then a video but they did nothing. Not good for watching the football World Cup !! It was very hot when we were there & there was no fan to move the air around. And we were on the top floor of three.
