Le Chemin de la Mer - A 300 m de la plage

The shower was great and property lovely. Would be lovely in summer and to be able to sit outside!

Closing key safe was difficult. Would have liked a hand towel for drying hands after using toilet as part of the towel bundle.

As we don’t have sat nav it was a little difficult to find but eventually got there. Problem being there is a little lane with a bollard blocking one end, so you have to find the other way in - luckily it was in the daylight. We visited for DDay 81st anniversary, plenty to see and do in the area. Really liked St Aubin sur Mer, the seaside just being a short walk away. This is a good location for any holiday, especially for visiting DDay places of interest. A small Sunday market in the town was of interest to us. The gite is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Plenty of crockery and glassware in the cupboards. If you want to cook on the hob there is a good supply of pots and pans. Plus use of oven, microwave and dish washer. When it comes to washing clothes there is a washing machine and tumble drier. These are located in the Boiler Room. From the photos you cannot see that the living area has two electric roller shutters to the window and sliding patio doors. If anyone is using the bed settee in the lounge it will be very dark for sleeping which is ideal. Bathroom is large, there are two different shower heads to choose from. The property can sleep six guests quite comfortably. Good decking area outside, with table, six chairs and sun umbrella if you are lucky to need one. We didn’t use the bbq. The owners, Julien and Claire, are very pleasant, helpful and eager to help with any queries. English is spoken.

Need to be careful when using shower as water can run onto floor.
