Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen! Wir hatten sehr kurzfristig gebucht. Wurden super nett empfangen. Bekamen das Hochzeitszimmer obwohl wir schon über 50 Jahre verheiratet sind. Es war ein tolles Zimmer, groß, sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet mit Himmelbett. Das Angebot an Abendessen war sehr gut und die Portionen waren groß und die Preise sehr vernünftig. Alle Familienmitglieder der Gastgeber waren freundlich und einfach toll drauf. Der Wein war super. Wenn es Euch in diese Gegend verschlägt macht in diesem Familienbetrieb Rast. Es lohnt sich.

What makes this hotel so lovely is the family who run it. They are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The four poster bed was comfortable but quite high so getting in and out could be difficult for some. However, it is a lovely touch to a large bright room. The breakfast is wonderful and evening meals if you choose to have them are delicious and reasonably priced. There's a small kitchen area on the landing, including teas and coffees, which was a nice surprise as not clear on Booking.com. Future guests please note this as the website states there is a kettle in the rooms but there isn't. We were in the hotel for four nights and had a very pleasant stay. We even heard a long eared owl hooting!

The curtains do not keep out the light in the mornings so if you are light sensitive bring a sleep mask. There seems to be a lot of traffic cutting through the village so it is quite noisy at times.

I arrived late and the person at reception was super helpful, he walked me to my room and asked when I’d be down for breakfast etc. The room was huge, (I’d never slept in a four-poster bed before!) and the bathroom had a full on tub, a huge mirror etc. There was even a balcony, if I’d planned a longer stay I would’ve taken advantage of it too!

I would have loved to have a mini fridge and a kettle at the very least in the room. For my one night stay, it was fine, but I’d expect to have a way to boil some water for longer stays.

Super schönes und großes Zimmer. Könnte als Suite auch bezeichnet werden.

Leider „nur“ eine Badewanne zum Duschen. Der Einstieg ist dann doch sehr hoch. Für ältere leider nur bedingt geeignet.
