Simple cheap but clean hotel. No breakfast but enough bakeries nearby. And a great Italian restaurant next door

Clean hotel. Receptionist had to contact someone else before giving me keys. First he said I couldn’t pay with cc but when I saw the terminal he changed his mind.

Decent no-frills road motel - just opened 3 months ago. Everything seems to be brand new. Service is good. Front desk is not manned. Usually, you have to call the restaurant next door so they can come and check you in/out. Parking is a little weird but free. Bring your own shower soap and shampoo. They only provide store-bought pump soap. Mom and pop business type. Room extremely clean. Bathroom extremely clean. Pillows are lumpy.Dresser furniture looks like bought from Ikea but is not stable. The drawer front came apart. Bathroom towels looks like theyve been dried outside on the line. A little concerned about front entry door security into the lobby as they put a towel around the door so not to lock the door. Breakfast was offered for 9.50€ next door at the restaurant. We declined as we had to get up early for business meetings. WiFi internet connection is spotty. Strong WiFi signal but lousy internet connection.Bottom line - decent place to stay for one night but extremely limited in amenities. Room/bathroom are extremely clean. One staff speaks excellent English. Location is about 10 km south of Mainz next to a roadside gas station.
