Rebel's Retreat Nr St Ives Free Leisure Pass

Loved this trip , came with my 3 children . There was milk in fridge , tea bags and sugar . The little touches really helped us settle in quickly . The place is small but very comfortable. The location is excellent . It’s set in woodland and is very quiet and peaceful . A smart Tv allowed us to watch netflicks in the evenings . Very clean

Tap in the kitchen - slow and no hot water . I just boiled kettles to wash up - not a problem . Shower was low pressure, but hot and did the job !

The location is great. You are nearby lovely beaches and towns, just a couple of min via car. Easy access to all Cornwall attractions like St Michael Mount, Lands End etc. The Chalet is lovely, it has everything what you need. Located near the forest with a forest view. Very friendly Hosts, Emma, Martin and Vicci. Communication has been great.

The host supplies all you need, clean towels and bedding, comfy beds, shampoo & shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar. everything you need in the kitchen to cook a meal. Dog friendly with Lovely woodland on your doorstep to walk in. great smart TV and free WiFi. Perfect for a short break. Loved watching the wildlife, was quiet and relaxing.

I wasn’t keen on the shower, but it did the job! unfortunately we didn’t have any hot water so had to boil a kettle to wash up, but luckily the shower is electric or it would of been a problem, the toilet was quite annoying as was constantly running which was annoying during the night, keeping the door closed helped, the host replied to our message promptly, but everything he suggested failed, we only had a 3 night stay so I didn’t bother the host with it again. I really didn’t want to waste my short break stressing over it. I didn’t find the chalet to be as clean as I’d like, the bathroom smelt of urine, I cleaned the toilet myself which made a difference, unfortunately it was very dirty around the toilet. The kitchen was spotless though.

Location , close to the woods and lovely walks , very clean , comfortable beds , little extras , speedy response from hosts .

Very musty and smelt damp upon arrival . Had to air the property and keep windows open . Hot water kitchen tap didn't work , property quite cold despite putting heating on . Acknowledged that we were the first guests of the season and it was cold during our stay .
