I only stayed one night despite a four-night reservation. The place was in a great location, close to Old Town, and the apartment was very well done. It was so spacious and current. There was so much room to spread out, internet was great, the shower was perfect, the bed was lovely.

I left early- the space reminds me of a storefront, where an entire wall is windows onto the street, and external glass doors instead of opening windows. Therefore the blinds needed to be closed most of the time or I'd feel like I was on display. Now worries, just unfortunate. However as night came the place was so, so loud. The glass doors were paper thin, so every noise was felt and heard, all night long. The noise from the tenants above was felt and heard. The room vibrated with sound. I barely slept, despite that fantastic shower and bedding situation. It was so, so loud. I've stayed in city center before and I have never heard anything like it. Unfortunately when I reached out to the owner they were very curt with me. The first question was about the coffee maker, as it looked intimidating and all I wanted was hot water. There isn't a stovetop or a kettle, so I inquired in advance of the morning so I'd know what to do. The answer was relatively simple, but the "tone" of the reply was short and unfriendly. Instruction above the coffee maker would be helpful. Surely I'm not the first to ask. The reply about my night's sleep was a tip to buy ear plugs (!) and that the volume was addressed in the booking. Surely had it been that clear I would've booked elsewhere. I use Booking.com a great deal and travel to Europe frequently. The reviews didn't really cover this info either, and given the final reply, despite my attempt at cordially addressing it, leads me to wonder about filtering reviews. Anyway, with a reply that "all of our guests are satisfied, so..." I took matters into my own hands, got another hotel, and never heard back.
