Old Town Split Apartment VJERA

Everything was perfect.

We stayed here from the 27/6/25 to 4/7/25 and we had an amazing time. Out first holiday together and it couldn’t have been better. This little appartment is a mere 5-10 minute walk from the main bars/ restaurants, Diocletian palace and shops and the main marina. However you feel like one of the locals, you’re just far enough from the main tourist places to feel like you belong there. The balcony is shared with the apartment next door however there is a curtain to separate you and have some privacy (in the time we were there we never even saw anyone sat out on their side). All the facilities provided is everything you could need, we were also left coffee, tea, sugar, milk, fruit, biscuits, some tins and more. Including a bottle of fizz and bottled water! However the water from the tap is also safe to drink. There’s a few grocery stores close by and the a bakery where you can buy some local goodies, we had plenty of breakfasts from there. The first night we were treated to a live show in the stadium too! You can see it from there however but we sat on the balcony and listened to the music and all the people cheering. Turns out we’d timed our visit at the same time a music festival was starting throughout the city which was a lovely surprise. I highly recommend this apartment, if I was ever to return to Split I’d definitely look this place up again!

Only 1 small issue, the address on google maps takes you to the market the next street over, we struggled to find it originally, however a local in the market says this always happens and sent us the right way. Which was literally a 1 minute walk over. We then called the apartment owners and they were quick to send videos and pictures of where exactly to go and which door. And that was all the communication we had to have with them as there was no other issues. Don’t let this put you off however, once you know where it is it’s easy to get too. I’d maybe suggest these owners put the picture of the main door and the alley too when they send you all the codes for the doors but that’s all.

It’s ok, somebody’s home, did the job for a couple nights in split

Property was just ok, management company took a long time to get back to us with queries and when we told them there was an issue there response was there is no issue instead of actually investigating

Fantastic location (25 minutes on foot from the first beach on Marjan; 10 minutes to the Poljud stadium; 10 minutes to the Riva; 15 minutes to the bus stop to/from the airport), super spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen (with everything you need, even food, before going to the store); high security (not only the entrance to the town is locked, but also the one on the first floor where the accommodation facility is); spacious terrace and space for drying laundry; in the bathroom (toilet is also available) was also left everything guests need (bath, shampoo, washing machine detergent, towels, etc.); food stores in the immediate vicinity (Konzum and Tommy), as well as a parking slot.
