Beautiful countryside. House is in "the middle of nowhere "... birds, lizards, nature. If you look for unusual and quiet place - it is !!

A beautiful house in one of the quietest little towns on Madeira. A perfect place for relaxation and enjoying the nature. (please note that Curral das Freiras, as beautiful as it is, may not be greatest choice of base for exploring all of Madeira, as it's sorrounded by mountains and only connected to Funchal to the south)
The bathroom could use some work, as water kept leaking out of somewhere and the floor was constantly wet.

Maison en pierres dans un petit village un peu à l'écard, à 15 minutes de Funchal en voiture. Cuisine bien équipée, machine à espresso (avec capsules), lit comfortable, hôte réactif sur email. Vue imprennable de la fenêtre de la chambre, agréables terrasses, même un BBQ. Hors de la haute saison, un peu d'humidité, début mai, les deux chauffages d'appoint étaient les bienvenus, le déshumidificateur aussi. Place pour garer la voiture derrière une grille électrique.
