It had everything we needed, the location was truly ideal and communication with hosts was super smooth! We felt particularly safe with the 24h security guard and being so close to the Havaianas shop was a true perk!
The flat was a bit stuffy at times so we would open the windows or put the AC. Windows in Rio are often single glazed, so if you are a light sleeper like my partner, do take some earplugs. Perhaps one last thing I would suggest the hosts to do is to put a larger shower matt as the current is too small and to include a second one as the shower curtain is not sufficient to retain all the water inside.

Main air conditioning was broken; the company managing the property normally took 4-12 hours to reply to messages; check-in experience was not good; check-out time was earlier than most rental apts I've stayed in Rio; slightly noisy

Ants infested. There were Ants on the kitchen counters, stove, kitchen drawers, closet drawers, desk. Ants crawled in my bags. Apartment staff lacked responsiveness to customers requests. This apartment is only good for location, could’ve stayed in a hotel.
