This linear apartment is really well appointed. Bathrooms are small but new and clean. There is a bright view out of the main bedroom windows across apartments and a side view of Dois Imrao. The kitchen interior is darker. The internal window in the 2nd bedroom looks into a light-well and at this time there are building works going on in the adjacent apartment so i kept that room closed. The hosts were very helpful and responsive which made my stay very pleasant. It's in a great location easy for shopping, restaurants and 2 blocks walk from the beach at Ipanema. It was easy to come and go from the building.
The building works next door but not everyone will experience these when they finish the work. I was out most of the day and there was no work in the evenings or weekends so it wasn't too disruptive for me. Bring an eye mask if you're a light sleeper as the windows/blinds don't keep the room very dark.
