Incredible setting with wonderful hosts. An amazing experience

An idyllic setting with friendly, warm and wonderful hosts. The accommodation is basic but very clean and comfortable with the most incredible views. The road to the property is bumpy, but the hosts give you great instructions. On our final night Kristina’s mum made a feast for us which was just wonderful. A whole experience we won’t forget.

MAGICAL ✨✨

We don’t have words to describe how beautiful this place was, THE VIEW!!!✨We enjoyed our stay so much and did not want to leave. Kristina is so sweet, such a great host. We will definitely come back in the future! Would absolutely recommend this magical place. 🙏🏼😊

Like staying with Friends!

We had a wonderful stay with Kristina and her family. The journey is challenging and currently still a bit of an adventure, but a video from the hostess was a great help! Kristina and her family welcomed us warmly and looked after us so well that we felt like we were staying with friends. Thank you so much for this wonderful vacation experience! The location on the lake is simply unique. Be sure to stay a few nights. We highly recommend the delicious food from Sanja and the neighboring fisherman and his wife, as well as the boat tour.

We really enjoyed it. And even though it will take time ;-) and some things are still in the works, it's already close to perfect!

Stunning location, we had all 3 apartments for our group of 9. Kristina and mum Sanja could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We canoed Lake Skadar, did a boat trip and all loved bird watching and swimming.

It was all brilliant. Make sure you bring cash before arriving-Kristina will remind you but make sure you do!

A superb place for a visit to Lake Skadar

The position of this property is truly spectacular. Birds were everywhere, and it was wonderful watching them fishing and so on from the terrace of the property. It is literally right on the shore of Lake Skadar, so that one can dive off the terrace straight into the water, which was lovely to swim in. The bedrooms all have a balcony looking straight over the lake, absolutely idyllic as there are no properties on the other side, just wonderful green scenery. The host Kristina was charming and extremely helpful. I was not organised and as I hadn't brought food with me, she and her mum happily cooked me a superb meal for only 15 Euro. Similarly I had a great breakfast the next morning for 8 Euro. Kristina organised a wonderful boat trip for me in the morning, with time flexibility that perfectly suited my travel plans. If I had had more time, I would have gone for a kayak trip by myself (they were available). After I left, I had the bad luck to get a flat tyre about 20 minutes from the property - Kristina was so kind, and came and picked me up, taking me to the airport to catch my plane as the car company said they would deal with the car but couldn't help me with transport. I think that was really above and beyond in terms of service - a measure of what a lovely person she is. I really couldn't rate her as a host any higher, she is great, and her property is in the most magic spot possible.

It's a little tricky to find this property, despite Kristina's tips before I arrived. I hadn't realised just how poor the road would be, and kept thinking I must have made a mistake. But worth the effort! The bedroom I slept in would have benefited from a bedside light, and better quality sheets. But the bed itself was very comfortable, there was air conditioning and a fridge in the bedroom, the ensuite was large and clean, and the balcony - did I mention the perfect view? - had table and chairs for relaxing on. Really, nothing here to complain about at all!!

Hidden gem

The hosts make you feel right at home & like part of their family. The view is breathtaking and all in all this is one of the few spots left where you can experience local, authentic and sustainable tourism. We‘ll be back!

Lovely place!

This place is stunning! Great lake view and outdoor space to enjoy and relax, just perfect on a sunny day. The room is quite basic but has all you need, and the little balcony is a bonus! Kristina is super friendly, happy to chat and give advice. There's a shared kitchen to store/make food. Great experience, thank you!

Both the place and the host family are truly amazing!

Stayed here for two nights with my family of six people and was absolutely amazing. It feels completely isolated and you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but at the same time it is possible to reach the house by car (from village Bobija) and you are only a few minutes boat ride from Karuč and also the Mali Raj restaurant across the cove. The dock was really nice too — the water was deep enough to jump and dive, and there was also a place for us to dock our small rental boat. In addition, the WiFi was stable and the air conditioners were new and worked well.

Odanızda çok vakit geçirmek istemiyorsunuz çünkü balkonlar ve teras gerçekten harika . Yemeklerimizi kendimiz pişirdik ama isterseniz ev sahibi size güzel yemekler hazırlayabilir . Buraya gelirken marketten ihtiyaçlarınızı alıp gelmelisiniz çünkü yol engebeli . Markete gitmek zor olacaktır . Kano kiraladık oldukça keyifliydi . Umarım buraya tekrar gelebiliriz We came here in mid-October. The sun was warming us in the mornings, and the evenings were cool. We still went swimming in the lake — it was a bit cold, but totally worth it. The rooms were clean, but you won’t want to spend much time inside because the balconies and the terrace are truly amazing. We cooked our own meals, but if you’d like, the host can prepare delicious dishes for you. You should bring your supplies from the market on your way here, as the road is quite bumpy and going back to the store can be difficult. We rented a canoe, and it was a lot of fun. Hopefully, we can come back here again!

Une vraie rencontre avec le Monténégro !

Nous avons adoré passer ces quelques jours ici. Les hôtes étaient adorables en toute simplicité (vraiment !), le lieu est exceptionnel (nos garçons se sont amusés toute la journée à sauter des falaises, explorer les alentours en canoë), les repas sont fabuleux, préparés par la maman (soupe, poisson et vin). Même si l’appartement était simple, le site est incroyable : la beauté de la nature s’impose!

Le chemin pour accéder, mais cela ne devrait pas être un frein!

Es war die beste Zeit für uns in Montenegro. Ein Ort der Idylle, Gastfreundlichkeit und des Wohlfühlens. Wenn man möchte, kann man bei Sonia und Kristina selber kochen oder man wird äußerst lecker bekocht. Es gibt die Möglichkeit ein Kanu auszuleihen oder sich von anderen Restaurants mit dem Boot abholen zu lassen. Die Badestelle ist direkt vor der Tür und der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist wunderschön. Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt alles, was man braucht. Vielen Dank nochmal für die schöne Zeit bei euch!

Das einzige, was man wissen sollte ist, dass es keine Möglichkeit gibt dort in einen Supermarkt zu gehen und die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich…

Einzigartige Lage direkt am Seeufer mitten in der Natur

Unglaublich schöner, ruhiger Ort mit toller Gastgeberin. Perfekt um mal so richtig abzuschalten... tagsüber begleitet von Vogelgezwitscher; nachts vom Froschkonzert. Gut zu wissen: Es gibt keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten; wer selber kochen will, muss planen. Trinkwasser sonstige Getränke nicht vergessen mitzubringen. Alternativ: Schräg gegenüber betreibt ein Fischer mit seiner Frau ein kleines, einfaches Restaurant - inkl. Abholservice per Boot. Oder man mietet sich ein Kajak und paddelt nach Karuc, wo es weitere Restaurants gibt - wobei dies wohl eher tagsüber eine Option ist. Last but not least: Die Anreise ist etwas abenteuerlich; Tageslicht ist definitiv von Vorteil - auch der spektakulären Ausblicken wegen.

Sehr liebevolle, entspannte Gastgeber, ein abgeschiedener, ruhiger Ort zum Runterkommen, Schwimmen, Kajakfahren. Die angebotene Bootstour am Abend war traumhaft schön. Wir waren hier sehr sehr zufrieden und glücklich. Küche zum Selberkochen oder drei sympathische kleine Restaurants in der Nähe, die einen abholen
