The Dairy - Quaint 1Br in Dartmoor National Park

Unser kleines Cottage „the diary“ war wunderschön gemütlich und hatte alles, was wir benötigten. Wir konnten sogar die Wäsche waschen und sie im Garten aufhängen. Bei der Ankunft standen Blumen auf dem Tisch. Man hat sich gleich zu Hause gefühlt. Der Ort ist ruhig, aber im Pub ist immer was los und wir wurden gut aufgenommen dort. Heather war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

This property was absolutely magical. From the breathtaking walks right on the doorstep to the warm, welcoming hospitality of Heather, every part of my stay was exceptional. Heather made me feel so comfortable and genuinely cared that I had a wonderful experience. For me, this was more than just a getaway—it was a true retreat. It gave me the opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy the peace and beauty of the surroundings. I loved every single moment and left feeling refreshed and grateful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, and I would return in a heartbeat!

Lage am Rand des Dartmoor Nationalparks. Eigener Zugang zur Wohnung. Gute Ausstattung. Sehr sauber. 2 Fernseher. Freundliche Besitzerin. Zugehörige Sitzelemente auf der gemeinsam mit 2 weiteren Wohneinheiten vorhandenen Terrasse mit Grill.

Anreise erklärungsbedürftig. Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäfte etc., bis auf einen Pub um die Ecke, mind. gute 10 Autominuten entfernt. Wohnung in teilw. älterem, aber sauberen Zustand. Kleineres Doppelbett in engem Schlafzimmer benötigt neue Matratze. Spazierwege doch öfter entlang der Strasse. Preis-Leistung eher am oberen Ende.

Location, the age of the buildings, quiet, Quaint village, very good food at the pub, a 2 minute walk from Longlands. We loved driving through the narrow country lanes. Heather our host was absolutely super, very helpful, great communication with her, she made our stay extra special X
