Beautiful property in a stunning location

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped property in a stunning location. Perfect position for exploring Dartmoor. Spotlessly clean. Clear instructions and lots of useful information provided. Lovely views from all the windows. Would recommend.

The only very minor thing would be the TV. Small TV in awkward position. Not many channels - no streaming services.

A brief one night stay on Dartmoor

The apartment was so lovely it felt like a shame we only had one night to stay here. The views were fantastic and The Haytor itself was within walking distance. The kitchen was superb. The owner was really helpful when it turned out we had forgotten some items in the apartment and we got everything back during the same day.

We didn't mind at all, but the apartment is on the second floor and there are stairs from the door. If you have trouble with stairs, be forewarned.

Very therapeutic n comfortable stay !!

Very nice apartment with great views of Haytor Rocks. The apartment is super cosy n beds are very comfortable! Kitchen is well equipped with cooking pots n cutlery in good condition unlike some other Airbnb! So we appreciate the excellent up keeping by owner! We will definitely return for another stay n recommend to friends. Relaxing view from the living room (see photos)

Perfect getaway on the edge of Dartmoor

Perfect escape on the edge of Dartmoor. Lovely apartment with views across the moor and short distance to fine dining and pub fare. Make sure you try Ullacombe Farm café for breakfast or lunch.

The perfect place!

Lovely place. Very comfortable well-equiped, spacious and still so cosy ánd on the perfect location to start hiking from the front door. It was easy communicating with the friendly owner, Vanessa. We fell in love with Dartmoor and when we manage to come back, we would certainely stay here again.

Highly recommended, stunning apartment.

Bright, airy, tastefully decorated and well furnished apartment with stunning views from every window. Just as described and shown in the many wonderful photographs. As soon as I walked through the door and saw how immaculately presented it was, I knew I'd made the right choice. Great communication and information from Vanessa prior to arrival, with more information inside the property regarding things to do and attractions. Haytor Vale and surrounding area is a beautiful place to explore, there are some amazing walks for all ages/abilities right from the door of the property. My stay was to have some relaxing, quality family time with a 'Dartmoor fix' in comfortable surroundings, this property provided that together with exceeding my expectations. I would certainly recommend and already looking at dates when I can return.

Our 2nd visit to this property, the most stunning location, peaceful well appointed apartment to explore Devon. Vanessa communicated as soon as we booked and provided lots of useful information.

Fab location and a true home from home

light, airy and spacious first floor flat. beautiful, long distance views from the lounge, kitchen-diner and master bedroom. king size bed with a really comfy mattress. slept so well both nights. flat had plenty of conveniences for a family of four. there were age appropriate dvds for children and blockbuster films for grown ups. lots of family games and books (biographies) for wet days/evenings. kitchen was well stocked with crockery, pots, pans etc and d/w, oven, hob and m/w. a small utility is provided with washer and dryer - perfect for moorland holidays and days at the beach (equally). there are 3 double sofas in the lounge. shower has a pump so feels like you get a refreshing clean and the tray is big so you have lots of space to move. it’s in an incredibly quiet, peaceful setting and you can hear the wildlife - a true retreat. Close to the moorland hotel (we attended a wedding reception here on the Saturday ) and Ullacombe Farm/shop/cafe where you can get the most amazing breakfasts and gluten free cakes.

the memory foam mattresses on the single beds were very soft and not very comfy - might be ok for kids but not adults.

Great location for exploring the moors, lot’s of lovely walks within a stones throw away. Lovely spacious flat that was exceptionally clean and very well equipped with everything you could need for a break away and more. Lovely host who went the extra mile with the request we enquired about and great communication throughout .
