Magnifique

We had a wonderful stay at this studio. It was excellent value for money compared to other places we stayed in across Europe. The bathroom, kitchen, bedding and towels were all very clean, which made our stay very comfortable. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend this studio for its cleanliness, comfort and great value.

The only small issue we had was that we could not access some of the information sent via WhatsApp, possibly because of the size of the video files, although this might have been on our side. We still managed to find the room easily and enjoyed our stay very much. To make the experience even better, it might help to dust the radiators and wipe the inside of the bathroom door. It could also be worth speaking to the neighbour, who seemed a little disturbed by the sound of the lock combination.

poor stay caused by proorly being informed

The location is nice: next to the tram station, from which tram takes you not only to Saint-Louis station but also to Basel center.

First, in order to send a video instruct how to collect the key, the host require me to have WhatsApp number, which I did not have (nor is required to have in advance). They claimed that it takes only 2 minutes to install it, but it was unrealistic for me, a traveler with only restricted interconnection. I still can't understand why a video is needed to explain the way to collect the key: some explanation by texts and photos would be enough. After entering into the room, I couldn't have wifi access. They told me the network name and password, but password didn't work. They never tried to help me on this problem. I had no wifi access from the property during the entire of my stay. In the shower room, the handles for hot/cold waters are opposite to what expected: blue one is for hot water and red one for cold water. It shouldn't cause any problem IF I was informed so, but I wasn't. This wasted so much time and so much water! In general, the host should reconsider their way how to tell important information to guests.

A nightmare apartment, dirty, without electricity and warm water.

I didn’t like absolutely anything. Very terrible experience.

The host of the apartament is a moroccan man who I assume isn’t even living in Switzerland. As you enter the apartment, the first thing you notice is the smell - moldy. The apartment is dirty, not renovated, with old radiators and old windows. There is no electricity and no running warm water. There is a lack of cutlery - knifes, forks, spoons and even plates. The few dishes that are existing are dirty. I tried contacting the host immediately after realising what a nightmare of an apartment it is. He told me that there is no solution regarding the electricity, as the “power” company cannot come before Friday ( that being 4 days into my stay) . I soon realised that everything he was saying was just a lie, as I was reading the reviews of the former tenants having the same problems. To summarise it all: This apartment should not be available for rent, as it cannot provide the basic needs of any human being.

Verkehrsgünstiges Appartment zum niedrigsten Preis in Basel, einfache Ausstattung

Vermieter telefonisch erreichbar (französisch). Lage an der Grenze, Verkehranbindung Strassenbahnhaltestelle direkt vor der Tür/ Autobahn/ Flughafen nicht weit, nette, hilfsbereite Nachbarn

Check-in etwas schwierig, da spät gebucht (telefonische Klärung war aber möglich). Appartment ist aus den 70ern, unrenoviert. Betten für mich (70kg)etwas zu weich.

Aucun séjour, car le propriaitaire ne s'est jamais manifester.... A fuir !!!!

J'ai contacté l'hôte à plusieurs reprises, appels téléphonique, sms, WhatsApp pour récupérer les clés...sans succès !!!! J'ai patienté prés d'1h30 devant le bâtiment, pour ensuite finir par chercher un hôtel d'urgence à minuit ne sachant pas où dormir...

Parking gratuit, la porte sans clé mais avec code est un vrai +.

L’appartement mériterait un coup de neuf, notamment pour sa débarrasser de l’odeur de renfermé/moisi, surtout dans les toilettes.

De quase tudo. Ptecisa de uma renovação total. Esta tudo partido até a sanita nao tinha tampa. Nao tem Netflix.

studio très pratique en face du tram tout est proche et surtout l'appartement très propre avec tout ce qu'il faut pour se doucher, prendre un café et ce que j'ai apprécié le plus le débit internet très haut ainsi que Netflix instructions très clair et facile, je recommande fortement
