Comfy and close to the area we were visiting and would stay again.
The proximity to the people we were visiting in the same town.
No heating instructions were given in the documentation meaning we had a really cold first night, but they did refund the pet fee we’d paid and gave us longer time to check out in recognition of this.

A good base to explore the area.
The location was ideal for exploring the area. We were able to park outside the house each time we returned. Communications and access were very good. The house was spacious and suited our group of four adults. We were able to access our Netflix account on the TV. We had dinner in a very good pub, the Rishton Arms, 5 minutes walk away. There was also a coop supermarket 5 minutes way.
First impression of the house was poor. The front door and the windows were very dirty. The bathroom was downstairs and a long way from the bedrooms. The freezer was unusable as it was completely frozen up.

Plenty of space. Parking space. Good to have your own catering facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Communication was excellent so any questions were answered quickly and we had all the information we needed for the stay. There was an issue with the original house we booked. TLC Stay sorted out an alternative very quickly before the date of our trip and provided a partial refund. This was excellent and meant our trip was still able to go ahead without any issues.
