Super cosy, the heating is so efficient! Very friendly staff on reception
We knew this ahead of time but no fridge. Something to store food would be fantastic but I do understand there’s limited space.

Our second stay but this time in the spa huts. Beautifully planned out & private as we stayed in the spa shepherds huts. Absolutely perfect stay. Just what we needed to unwind. The hot tub & sauna were perfect. Food in the GardenRoom was just lovely & staff pleasant & helpful. We paid extra for earlier check in, lighting of the hot tub & s’mores kit. Think the 4.00 pm check in is a little too late when you have the facilities to enjoy. But other than that Couldn’t fault it. We will be back in the new year.
Felt the check in time is little late. Also the bedroom hut & relaxation hut would maybe benefit from being close together rather than being opposite each other. We did enjoy our stay so much & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends & family.

We were at a family wedding which was fantastic. The staff were amazing and it was lovely to stay in a Shepherds hut near to other guests in a pretty setting. The beds were comfy and shower room was great.
It was a cold day and it took a while to heat up the hut. Maybe a throw on the bed would have been warming.

Breakfast was great but should have been included in the price.
See above plus the beds weren't very comfy

It was as expected very basic you need the weather to be dry to facilitate cooking and eating outside but the hut was warm and bathroom facilities are adequate.
No fridge was a challenge

The property was very clean, fresh bedding and correct number of towels. The shower pressure was brilliant and more than I’d expected from a hut.
The booking informed us there would be 3 beds, as we’re a family of 2 adults, a 15 year old boy and 4 year old girl. The hut had only a bunk bed to sleep all 4. The size of the beds themselves were great, however wasn’t ideal that the children had to share a bunk, and a little disappointing. A couple more additions to the complimentary hospitality tray would have been great, such as a couple more tea bags, coffee and milks.

The hut had not been prepared since previous occupants stay. Untidy dirty and hence unsuitable.

This was a stop on the way to Skye. It was warm and comfortable.
The lights outside.

We booked our stay to celebrate a friends birthday. The huts had everything necessary for an overnight stay, and were spotlessly clean.

Lovely location. Well laid out areas. My daughter and I took our grandaughters/neices for a w/e. They loved the hut, being able to run around. Very peaceful.
The play area is very good, the girls spent ages on it.
Excellent for families or even romantic getaways.
The hut had double bunk beds, and the toilet/shower room was very clean and ideal for our stay.
Tea & coffee facilities in hut a nice touch.
Had breakfast at Heritage Tea Room, lovely setting.
We used the firepit to toast marshmallows.
I would definitely return and recommend it to family & friends
Would have been good to have a mini fridge

Location was great for a stay over just off the M6.
The huts are more like caravans and well equipped. Would be great for a family group as most look to be grouped in threes.
Adventure playground is amazing, driving range and crazy golf was open until 9. Easy to order takeaways if you needed too.
Even better that we could take our little dog (cost £10 extra)
Staff really responsive before stay to answer questions etc via email.
Logs are expensive £10 a bag but included matches and firelighters etc, but convenient!
Beds were not that comfy (mattress on wooden base) but since I won't do camping this is a good compromise 😅
Instructions could be a bit clearer about which gate to early exit in the morning, instructions said golf gate (which is up the drive and we didn't use to enter so had no idea was there!) So presumed the golf gate was the one next to the golf entrance, and we got stuck there for half an hour (other people had same issue!) But we eventually got out as the golf staff opened up and arrived. A little map or sentence to say which golf gate would have prevented it.

Easy to get too.
Charged £10 to change after our journey, but the vehicle which we were staying in which they offered to change in was completely ready but instead they wanted extra money. 🙄 Not great bar service, food very plain. Sorry I did not enjoy the experience and didn't use the facility and went home early instead.

The style of accommodation, the shower was powerful and hot, the heating system was good, the cabin was well insulated against the sound of rain, the kids loved the outside space, the bedding was nice and clean, and a shower mat, shower gel, toilet paper, kettle and hot drinks station were provided
The wifi signal was very weak, there was no fridge or cool box, which I should have brought with me, so I struggled a bit with the fresh food aspect . The parking was not immediately next to the hut, and I would imagine that in busy times this place could get noisy;y however, they try to privatise the living spaces with bushes and spaces between huts as much as possible to help with this aspect.

Cute shepherds hut and well appointed.
Shower in the bathroom.
Double bunk beds.
Chair and table in the hut with kettle, cute mugs, tea and coffee milk and sugar. Garden bench outside next to hut withe fire pit also.
Firewood etc available to buy at check in.
Nice restaurant onsite for breakfast and lunch with good quality food and nice service.
Playgrounds for the kids on site.
It was all lovely and as expected but perhaps some outside under cover seating areas would be nice for socialising when 2 families or more are travelling together incase of rainy weather.

Beds were so comfy, location was superb, added bonus shower and toilet in hut and shower was powerful, everything you needed outside hut bench firepit and bbq. Would definitely book again our 5 year old daughter was in her element in the outdoors and especially liked the fountain with the plastic fish and fishing rods could not keep her away!
Would of been nice to have a mini fridge in hut but other than that it was great

The Shepherds hut themselves were small but well equipped for our needs, in a gorgeous area next to ample parking. With a bathroom with shower inside, and towels provided was an added bonus, basics such as kettle, mugs, tea and coffee were also a nice touch. We had a picnic bench outside and firepit to use if we wished.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Loved the fact that we could access Salmesbury House, which was beautiful, my kids enjoyed the playpark.
My only gripe was the Information booklet provided in the hut stated bags of logs were £5 at reception, and smores kits £6, but i was charged £15 for wood, marshmallows, sticks and packet of biscuits, (not the smores kit shown in the information booklet) and when I queried this I was told the wood was £9.80, maybe a good idea to update the information booklets to show the price increase.
