Location, sea view, ideal for our trip away

The entrance to the property was covered in seagulls dropping, needed a good cleaning, as seagulls have nested above the entrance. WiFi and TV was intermittent which was a problem .

The space available was very good, bright & airy. Beds were comfortable. Location is central & the sea front is virtually on the door step. Close to useful shopping areas & local bus station for venturing out.

The front entrance & adjacent footpath areas are littered with wheelie bins that are there permanently. Rubbish from long cardboard tubes from flooring delivery’s are at the back of the bins & have been present for a great number of weeks according to locals. The step up to the entrance doorway is heavily contaminated with seagull dung & nesting material from Seagulls occupying the upper frontage of the property. The floor content of the approach to the property is a health hazard & if moistened with rain will become a slip & fall hazard too. That too has been building up for weeks according to locals. It needs regular removal to address the issues of Health & Safety The property has some budget standard items & wardrobe storage is poor in the smaller bedroom, a hanging rail corner unit falls over very easily if you hang 3 items on it. Plastic tub construction & in poor condition along with the little table near the small window. This has canvas shelving which is torn off on the bottom shelf, again plastic tube construction. Both items belong with the cardboard tubing on the footpath. PVC Window security locking systems & opening restrictors need a total review for urgent repair / renewals. Fire Alarm needs confirming & declaring as being in date for operational checks

Spacious, bright, well furnished and decorated. Great location, moments from the pier yet quiet. Helpful, friendly and efficient manager - when there was a problem with the boiler it was fixed fast.

Slight damp smell in hall and a dripping tap in the bathroom, tho i suspect this will be fixed before the next visitor.
