The house was perfect for our stay during the Loch Ness marathon weekend. It had everything we needed and was very close by to the town and finishing point. The rooms bring all en-suite was great and each room had plenty space for the 13 of us in the group. The hot tub, fire pit and facilities were such a treat too.

For a group of 14 it was spacious and we particularly liked having en-suite bathrooms for every room. The sound proofing between rooms was excellent. Location was perfect as we were able to walk to a big supermarket and into town easily. We liked the hot tub and the Tipsy Laird Bar for darts. The big windows let in plenty of the sunlight we were fortunate to experience in early September. We also appreciated the gift basket on arrival and information on places to visit. The bath in room 8 was also much appreciated.
There was nothing we did not like. But we understand that you are considering renovating so we have a few suggestions: a few extra very large saucepans for cooking with; we think there maybe a small gas leak as several of the party could smell gas in the kitchen; the hot tub needs some maintenance as it stopped working several times; the showers in rooms 1, 5 and 6 need attention as leaking or not emptying properly; room 1 was a bit small as a double; TV in room 8 not working. None of these things spoilt our stay.

Great kitchen; utilities room; all rooms with ensuite; location; great living room with classic vinyls; size of this place was awesome; great garden; wonderful place for a large family to hang out; responsive owners; v easy check in. Well stocked toilets & bathrooms. Shampoos smelled great. Linen was v clean & we were happy to sleep on it. Large living areas and good sized bedrooms.
Low shower pressure; loose shower heads; shower curtain in room 7 that didn’t close; funny smell in room 7; carpet while clean was stained; room doors not the easiest to open & close. Sofa in media room needs some cleaning.

Beautiful house with separate bar in garden and hot tub. Location within walking distance to river, bars and restaurants and a local shop just round the corner.
As with other review only negative would be having to put all dishes from dishwasher away morning of departure. I think this is unnecessary hence reason for rating being a 9 otherwise would have been a 10.
