The Hoot is deceptively spacious, providing a quiet rural escape with modern comforts. The accommodation features a queen bed, a well-equipped modern kitchen, and a separate bathroom with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, toilet, and sink. A wood-burner is perfect for those chilly evenings, and a comfy couch allows you to relax and enjoy Anglesey's famous dark skies.
The Hoot is pet-friendly, welcoming one well-behaved pet. Designated parking for one car is provided and clearly signposted. A log store will be topped up prior to your arrival, ensuring you have plenty of wood for the wood-burner.

The Neighborhood:
Llanfaelog (said: hlan-Vay-log) is a quiet Anglesey village, just a few minutes inland from the bustling seaside resort of Rhosneigr.
It's a peaceful base with easy access to some of Anglesey's best natural and coastal spots. Coed Cwr y Pwll, a National Forest right nearby, has woodland trails, wildflower meadows and a pond to explore. A short hop away, Rhosneigr's Traeth Crigyll beach is made for water sports, with Funsport running kitesurfing and paddleboarding lessons, followed, ideally, by a seaside ice cream.
By car, you can reach Trearddur Bay's Trefignath Burial Chambers, Porth Diana Nature Reserve, or pick up the Wales Coast Path for a proper walk. Whether you're after adventure or a slower pace, Llanfaelog makes a solid base for either.
Getting Around:
The property includes private parking and is close to Ty Croes station (about 2 minutes by car). While there are limited buses, driving is the easiest way to get around Anglesey from here.

Absolutely fantastic couldn’t fault the Hoot. Excellent location for exploring Anglesey, stunning inside and amazing views outside. Spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. Everything you need. We met the host and they are lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend

I’ve been holidaying in the Rhosneigr area for over 40 years , and this is a great find . In amongst beautiful countryside, within 10 minutes from fabulous beaches . The access to the Hoot is a single track road , which is a bit bumpy , but worth it . I expected the property to be like a summer house, but it was far from it . A solid well built property, with top quality fixtures, and fittings , a lovely bathroom, and spectacular floor to ceiling , sliding window / doors , which allow great views of the abundance of the wildlife, and horses . The doors open onto a small patio , ideal for having tea or coffee .My only two minor bugbears were the hot plate , and the shower . We had to get the lady who was looking after the Hoot to help us get the hot plate in operation, and the shower was an old one , which either scalded you , or gave you an ice bath . Apart from that really ideal , and would strongly recommend, to couples who enjoy the finer things in life . Already booked to return next June . The owners have provided the best quality , and taken pride in their property . Great place to stay .

Hosts were so friendly and informative and genuinely wanted you to have a nice time. Wood for the external firepit and the internal log burner was provided which was such a lovely touch.
The Views from The Hoot are brilliant and there is so much wildlife constantly walking by.
The village is a 25 Minute walk and you are close by to everywhere on the island to have a good explore.
We will definitely be staying again some time in the future, thank you so much Richard & Gil - lovely people with a lovely home.

This was our 2nd stay at the Hoot and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time
Great hosts and in such a lovely location- it’s just perfect for our visits to Anglesey
