Bryn Bach is tucked away on a quiet private lane in the village of Llanfaelog, this one-bedroom annexe sits in a genuinely peaceful spot with wide open views. Floor-to-ceiling French doors and windows flood the space with natural light and make the most of the countryside setting.
Inside, the open-plan living space is comfortable and cosy. There's a wood-burner for cooler evenings, a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchen for everything from a proper breakfast to a picnic packed for the day ahead. The king-size bedroom is quiet, and the bathroom has a shower over bath.
The real draw here is the location. Step outside and you're already on the doorstep of some brilliant walking, the Oyster Catcher in Rhosneigr is around 15 minutes on foot through the fields, with the beach just beyond. The lake is equally accessible, straight from the door. It's worth wearing sturdy footwear. RAF Valley is just a couple of miles away, and if you've never watched a fighter jet take off at close range, it's quite something, there's even a viewing spot just beyond Rhosneigr worth seeking out.
The hot tub and patio area are for quieter evenings after a long day out rather than a manicured spa experience. This is a rural hideaway, and it feels like one.
Bryn Bach is good value, honestly priced, and in a location that consistently surprises guests. If wide skies, peaceful lanes and easy access to the coast is what you're after, it delivers.

Llanfaelog (said: hlan-Vay-log) is a quiet Anglesey village, just a few minutes inland from the bustling seaside resort of Rhosneigr.
It's a peaceful base with easy access to some of Anglesey's best natural and coastal spots. Coed Cwr y Pwll, a National Forest right nearby, has woodland trails, wildflower meadows and a pond to explore. A short hop away, Rhosneigr's Traeth Crigyll beach is made for water sports, with Funsport running kitesurfing and paddleboarding lessons, followed, ideally, by a seaside ice cream.
By car, you can reach Trearddur Bay's Trefignath Burial Chambers, Porth Diana Nature Reserve, or pick up the Wales Coast Path for a proper walk. Whether you're after adventure or a slower pace, Llanfaelog makes a solid base for either.
Getting Around:
The property includes private parking and is close to Ty Croes station (about 2 minutes by car). While there are limited buses, driving is the easiest way to get around Anglesey from here.

The positives, in a very quiet location if that’s what you’re looking for. A reasonably well equipped kitchen for your most basic needs.
The welcome pack was appreciated containing milk, eggs apple juice teabags and biscuits. We didn’t use the hot tub so can’t comment on that. The king size bed was fairly comfortable, the come the negatives, the pillows were terrible, disintegrating and offering no support. The large leather sofa was also in a similar dilapidated state and was again well past its best! Bathroom, I noticed by the 3rd day of our stay the water was struggling to drain after a shower, it continued to drain less and less as the week went on,so it was left soapy and slimy after we’d showered each time. I did email to report this issue. Generally the whole accom needs a deep clean and decorating to bring it back up to a reasonable standard. Even the blind on the door was broken and damaged on the bottom half. Given some attention this could be 5* accom but at the moment I would only be scoring it a 3 at best. It’s about 15 mins walk across the field to the Oyster catcher, and then another 6 or 7 mins into Rhosneiger.

Loved my stay at Bryn Bach. It was in a peaceful setting looking out over fields with bird song (and jets) and large floor to ceiling windows letting in lots of light. Very clean and modern with a "hygge" feel to it. Spacious and well thought out, it had everything needed for a cosy stay on the Isle of Anglesey. A great base to explore from. Which I did!
Rhosneigr beach is just a short walk away and also worth an amble around Lake Maelog which is just minutes away from the door.
I didn't use the hot tub so I can't comment on that, but the place is lovely and I would definately stay here again.

We had a great time staying at the property. It was clean and very charming. The welcome card and pack was very much appreciated. We had a great time on the tiky tab in the garden. If you use it give yourself at least 2 hours for.the fire to warm the water but when done , bathing under the stars was something different. Another property on the short list for us to come back to.
