You will be one to two miles from the University of Washington campus, the vibrant University Village shopping center, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Magnuson Park on tranquil Lake Washington. Easy access to bus transportation and University of Washington Station. Light rail will allow you to avoid parking by whisking you swiftly downtown, to Northgate (Seattle Kraken complex) or to Sodo for Seattle Mariners, Seattle Sounders or Seattle Seahawks games. Light rail travel to or from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport takes 42 minutes with a short bus or rideshare trip from the station to your home away from home.
If you prefer to walk or bike, you can easily access the Burke Gilman trail to enjoy 27 miles of varied outlooks from the shores of Lake Washington to the UW campus to Lake Union and the thriving community of Ballard.
Several playgrounds are within a mile or two to delight the little ones. They will also enjoy the Seattle Children’s Museum at Seattle Center, where they will also find the Pacific Science Center. The Seattle Aquarium on the waterfront is a popular destination, near the Great Wheel Ferris wheel. Other nearby museums include Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park, Museum of History and Industry on Lake Union and Seattle Art Museum downtown near the bustling Pike Place Market. Of course, you won’t want to miss the iconic Seattle Space Needle with its rotating glass floor for 360 degree views of the city and Puget Sound. Just at its base is one of our personal favorite, Chihuly Garden and Glass, showcasing the famed local glassblower’s amazing work. Of course, you can make a day trip to famed Mount Rainier or the Olympic National Park and points beyond. Hiking, biking, kayaking and more are right at your fingertips.
