Our second stay - just as good as the first. Great location, quiet area of the site, great hosts and welcome pack, cleanliness and comfort spot on. Had everything we need. Swimming pool a great feature as well as the entertainment on site. Thanks Robert and Pippa, we will be booking again.

Spotless lodge with everything you need and we were made to feel very welcome.when met by the owners. It's clearly very well cared for and everything is done to make your stay as comfortable as possible with lots of attention to detail.
Lots to see and do in the beautiful local area and we would certainly love to visit again.
Not a dislike, more of an FYI - ithe lodge is sited on a large site currently undergoing extensive redevelopment and will be fabulous when finished. The site is on multiple levels and areas so has character and doesn't feel too big. However, whilst in a lovely position backing onto fields, as this lodge is on one of the lower levels, for us it was a car ride to get up to the main reception/pool/ bar etc near the top of the hill, so just something to bear in mind when booking if not as fit as you'd like to be! 😁
