Ideal town centre location.

The parking was a little problematic given we had two cars. A little cold in the house the first evening, until we worked out how to alter the thermostat. ( It was a particularly cold evening).

The house was great, close to everything we required in Clitheroe. It was very clean and had everything we required. A nice touch was a welcome pack. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good, it kept the same temperature. We would definitely return.

A comfortable property if you only need one bathroom, and avoid the noisy weekends.

The owner very kindly allowed us to leave our luggage there before we officially checked in. The housekeeper drove 30 mins to bring us a towel which we really appreciated, as we were one short for our group. The house overall was clean, and the location was very central for walking around town.

The description states that the property has two bathrooms which is why we booked it in the first place. However it only has one full bathroom upstairs, with an additional toilet downstairs. As there were five of us trying to get ready for wedding at once, having only one bathroom was not ideal. There is a VERY noisy nightclub located directly behind the property which is open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. This made it impossible to sleep in the back bedroom. For some reason the weekend that we booked the property it cost hundreds of pounds more than any other three day rental period. I emailed the owner to ask why this was, but never got any response. I can only assume that the rates are increased when there is an event such as a wedding in town.

Great location, plenty of rooms and the weather was great so sitting out in the yard in the evening

Outside the property in a wall box. Slightly hidden from the road which is a good thing.

The back yard could do with a bit of weeding. Garden furniture could be under a cover when the weather is not good. And out away in winter to protect.

The location was excellent, though noisy at night due to the proximity to bars, a good size property and bedrooms. Clean and bathroom and shower were good.

There was an awful smell in the kitchen and downstairs toilet. I could not use the kitchen except to grab a coffee. On the other hand the artificial airfreshners everywhere was too much. I believe the bedding was clean but the pillows were not. Disappointed that the beds weren't king size in such spacious rooms. TV remote wasn't,t working and had to change batteries. The outside area wasn't very inviting.

All very good, suited our needs of 6 adults and 2 young children, host provided lots of info prior to our arrival, and responded quickly when asking for advice on services we required.

Clitheroe stay

House was well situated in town close to all amenities . It was cleaned to a high standard and the welcome pack was a great touch, the beds were super comfy with really good pillows, would highly recommend anyone staying here.

A very pleasant and comfortable stay. We were greeted with a welcome hamper which was very kind.

The handle broke off the front door but the host came to fix it as soon as they were told.
