The Ball House

Fabulous location. Great view of the city. Quiet and reasonably comfortable. Good size bathroom with enclosed shower. Host was kind enough to let us leave our luggage outside at midday and the cleaner put it in the apartment for us.

Be aware, if you choose to stay here there are a lot of rules. A lot of furniture is vintage and has tags to tell you so. We didn’t dare use 3 of the 5 chairs due to the warning of scratching and risk of damage. The table is white and again you have to take care when using not to stain or mark it. There are restrictions on what you can cook in the apartment so we chose to eat out instead. The futon is badly positioned in front of the large window with no black-out lining, so my friend was wide awake as soon as it was light at 5am. I slept on the hanok bed, but there wasn’t much room to place it and we were afraid to move any furniture.

位置非常棒，離鬧區很近也離車站很近，到哪裡都非常方便。房間非常乾淨，一切都跟照片一模一樣，舒適又溫馨，大桌子放東西很方便，洗衣機電子衣櫥一應俱全，非常舒適，下次如果再來大邱，絕對還想回來住！

Das Zimmer war kleiner als erwartet, was aber ok ist. Sehr enttäuschend war das Bett, dass nur eine Matratze auf dem Boden war. Diese war überdurchschnittlich weich und sehr unbequem. Es gibt ansonsten nur einen Tisch mit harten Stühlen. D. h. zum Entspannen gibt es keine Möglichkeit, wenn man nicht auf dem Boden (auf einer Matratze) sitzen will. Die Handtücher im Bad sind viel zu klein, es gibt keine Badehandtücher. Alles in Allem enttäuschend. Der Kühlschrank brummt die gesamte Zeit. Dafür, dass es Hotels für das gleiche Geld oder etwas mehr gibt, ist diese Unterkunft nicht empfehlenswert.

Kein Bett, nur eine Matratze, die viel zu weich ist. Keine großen Handtücher.
