i love that its very affordable and spacious! the staff are very welcoming, they know most of us are here for the concert weekend, so they printed and pasted photos of our idols at the counter? 🤣 also i like that it's kind of a social enterprise; some of the earnings go to special needs children which they helped to clean the guesthouse! when i saw how the children were helping to clean the guesthouse i was deeply moved. definitely will be back to stay when i come back to daegu next time! 감사합니다 🙇🏻‍♀️

It's close to everywhere in daegu. The Guesthouse is clean and spacious. Great staffs! I enjoyed my stay here for 3 nights.

Overall a good stay for the price. Location is very good with many restaurants and shops nearby. Also close to the bus stop, metro and tourist information centre. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They share some of the revenue with good causes in the local area, we loved that our money is going towards the local community. We arrived late in the evening but they shared instructions for self check in which was very easy. Stayed 2 nights in the 8 bed female dorm. It’s a busy area in the evening but the road is very quiet and we couldn’t hear much outside from the room. Earplugs are also provided. The whole guesthouse was very clean. There is a free water refill and you can use the laundry machines for a small fee.

As the other reviews have said there’s no curtains on the beds, so only privacy is in the bathroom and the curtains for the room are not good at blocking the light so bring an eyemask. Not a lot of room for everyone’s bags, and that was with 6 of us. Shared bathroom is inside the room but quite large. The only issue was the lock on the bathroom door didn’t work.

I expected more based on the high ratings of the property, but the facilities were really not set up for the number of people and for comfort. The two nights I spent there were among the worst sleep I got in a year of travel. - no small lights by the bedside, only bright ceiling lights which meant people kept turning them on even late or middle of the night - no privacy curtains - related to the above, you have no way to block out the light - bathroom door didn't lock in a dorm of 8 people... - the bathroom was attached, no soundproofing, you can hear every little sound - very limited room for the luggage of all people - lack of good common area. There was one downstairs but it seemed to have very limited hours based on a sign - last: this is not the fault of the hostel, but some of my roommates were very inconsiderate, coming and going with noise very late and in the middle of the night, and having alarm clocks at 4.30am or 5am (snoozing 3 times!?!). The hostel could have at least tried to encourage some quiet hours
