Know that I didn't realize I was booking a hostel in a party area.
It was loud all night, into the day time, with people playing music, thumping around the hallways all night. The walls and floors are very thin, so you hear everything. The windows were shut, and I had earbuds in, but I could clearly make out conversations that were being had out on the street below the hostel . Crazy
That being said it is beautiful, well kept, and near the party streets if that's what you like. There are also cameras everywhere, including your room and also the shower area. Pointed at the shower area anyway.
If I were a drinker I would book again but I am not soooo I couldn't stay another night 🤷🏼♀️

Probably the cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in. The staff was nice, the beds were comfortable and the curtains provided plenty of privacy. Felt very comfortable and safe as a solo female traveler. They had AC and fans in the rooms and a nice kitchen and shared spaces with tv and beanbags. Super central location as well, within walking distance to Khaosan Road. Highly recommend!!

House Ju is one of those gems which is hidden in the city but it's one of the best you can get. It's run by a very sweet family and everyone is really welcoming and helpful. I've visited this place twice and I'll probably be returning in the future too!
