Siam Serene Hostel Khaosan

Food was close and so were some local sites, all walkable. Value for the money was there and facilities were as expected for the location. Nice showers and friendly staff.

The other travelers were NOT observant of quiet hours. Maybe new travelers, maybe cultural, but when trying to get sleep before an early departure and hearing people talk loudly and walk heavily up and down the walkway ALL NIGHT and EARLY MORNING was not ideal. Also while the rooms were air conditioned, it wasn't all the time. Only during certain hours (including sleeping) but that wasn't mentioned in the description if I recall. Not particularly close to a metro so you'll have to use a bus or better GRAB to the metro. I likely would not stay here again.

No soap Noone on site in case of an emergency which we had with one guest who acted strange and bothered other guests...they also need to put shelves in bathrooms and to lock doors of bedrooms and the main door that should not stay open for safety concerns ....also the hardest bed I have even slept on...why so hard it was quiet uncomfortable pillow wad also super hard had to ask them to find me a softer one to be able to rest

The bed was ok

It smelled of sweaty feet, I never actually met anyone who worked there, wasn’t able to officially check in, there was nothing worth visiting within walking distance
