Very warm property in an excellent location.

Unfortunately the heating was broken when we arrived so the house was very cold (late December). However, Sykes were very good and provided electric heaters and logs for the fire to warm the place up, then rehoused us the next day in a nice place nearby. The house was lovely apart from the heating issue!

The property was a good size and had all the facilities we needed for our stay
Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The matress cover had stains that appeared to be menstrual blood - this wasnt discovered until I stripped the bed at the end of the stay.
There was collections of debris under the sofa cushions which we found when we lifted the cushions to prevent our dog sitting on them.
There was collections of debris in and around the kitchen floor area
The drains were blocked outside and overflowed into the yard when the dishwasher / washing machine were used.
The shower/bathroom floors and floors in general were dirty.
Parking was difficult as access to the property is tight and the space for parking was very tight
