Bilbo's Cottage, Sheringham

The property is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood. It took about 15/20 minutes to walk to the main town and seafront. It has ample parking for two cars. The property is a good size and provided enough space for 7 people. The kitchen has all the equipment you would need. The beds were comfortable. Towels were provided. The garden is small however it did have a washing line which was great for drying clothes after being at the beach. All in all it is a comfortable holiday house that is within walking distance of the beach.

The only downside were the upstairs bedrooms. They were very hot (but the owners had put fans into the property to help with this) and the blinds did nothing to stop the sunlight in the mornings but due to type of window (on a slant) our travel blackout curtains didn’t help.

Good location, central to activities and days out along the north Norfolk coast. Large lounge which was ideal

Easy to find, easy to access and great comms from the host. We were able to check in a little earlier which was really helpful. Excellent comfy double beds. Spotlessly clean and a fabulously well equipped kitchen. Lovely garden and plenty of on road parking as well as the drive itself. Lovely walk into town and the beach. A really comfortable home from home and you can see the care the host has for the property. House is absolutely perfect for a family getaway. We booked quite last minute and I think we've found an absolute gem. Will be returning for sure!

Upstairs single bed mattress doesn't fit the bedframe well - not very comfortable and my 10 yr old son kept falling between the mattress and frame. Only one full length mirror - none in two of the bedrooms. Great fans in upstairs bedroom but none in downstairs one.

Perfect location - near the town centre - lovely quiet area - very roomy -three toilets!! We were two couples so we had the downstairs bedroom area with en suite and the others upstairs so lots of privacy -the kitchen had everything you needed and more! The owner got a new microwave specially in for us as the other one had broken - and left the fabulous set of bbq tools out for us too - the very comfortable reclining sofas were perfect to watch the footie too!!
