Bay House Kakrc

The house is charming and the right size for a family of three. The terrace was perfect, shaded by a huge fig tree and the air conditioning is placed perfectly on the lobby at the first floor. There are many amenities, so many that you come to expect everything - for instance, coals for the grill, which are, however, absent. We felt nice, we made it our own, the owner and Milica, who takes care of the house, are responsive and very decent. We said we would leave at 10 am, but managed to be ready only at 11; Milica and her husband arrived at 10:30 and graciously waited for us for 30 minutes.

The access to the sea is from one side only, the one with the fig tree, though it seems the occupants of the nearby houses think it's theirs, judging by the way they occupy the pier. The parking on the street is not comfortable at all. The road is busy, they drive fast, the space on the side is very narrow and really limited; plus, the path towards the house is long and unpaved for about 20 metres. If you have a lot of luggage, it will be uncomfortable. But the most glaring issue is the shower. You practically cannot use it, for it will flood the living room. The angle is wrong, so the water flows outside of the bathroom, beneath the door, into the living room. The drain was clogged, we cleaned it, but it didn't fix the issue. So we had to use the garden hose, which smelled funny. Thankfully, it was hot and we didn't stay too long (and used shampoo with the cold water).
