It was not so bad. The location is great and the quality of the materials in the build are good.

The property was easily accessible. Very good location.

The staff promised to have our room cleaned and for the four days we stayed there, no one ever came to clean it even after we were promised multiple times that it would get cleaned. The bed was also very small and squeaky, could barely fit two people.

Highly recommend staying here if you want to visit Edinburgh

We stayed here for 5 nights in Edinburgh for the Fringe and we loved it! The accommodation was spotless and the beds were comfortable. We’re light sleepers but didn’t hear any noise from the hallway at night (however there is noise from the street but only noticeable if you leave the window open) There are towels, complimentary mini toiletries in the bathroom, coffee and tea in the kitchen which was a bonus. The water pressure in the shower was great! Breakfast buffet is available for the students but a member of staff kindly said it was ok for us to make use of it if we wanted to. There is a coffee, tea, juices, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, toast, jam, meat and cheese. If you need a hairdryer you can borrow one (free of charge) from the reception desk. It was about a 20 minute walk from the train station to the accommodation, but there are plenty of buses to take as well if you don’t want to walk. We love a good pub quiz and we’re pleased to find a few nearby (I can recommend Dr. Paul’s Quizzes) And last but not least I want to give 5 stars to all the staff members! They were very friendly and helpful at all times of the day! We’ll definitely be back next year!

Very expensive spacious accomodation which we would not recommend for reasons above

The accommodation is set up for students so there were various problems - no sidelights in bedroom just very bright main lights; no general rubbish bin in bathroom or kitchen (although there were 3 recycling bins); the doors had fire safety hinges on them that were very heavy. Neither of us could manage them so we had to use chairs to prop them open; the kitchen was inadequate. 2 plates,2 bowls,2 glasses etc and no dishcloth or anything to wash them up - a dishwasher is not appropriate when there are such small amounts of crockery and cutlery.

A nice stay in wonderful Edinburgh

The location is ok, not far from the city centre and with buses and tram nearby. The room is small, just for one person. Full equipped in the kitchen part. Breakfast is available in the morning, down in the hall, with both savoury and sweet food, I haven’t tried it though. Staff is young and helpful.

Cleanliness could have been better. No toiletries, only a small bar of soap. Kitchen stuff is minimal, there should be something more. Beware of rooms near the lift: it announces arrival and floor in a very loud voice, which could be a problem if you sleep nearby. Altogether my staying was okay, but even considering the peak season and the festival, the price is too high for what you get.

Everything! Not only was it super safe with key access needed and also staff on site at all times. I was greeted so wonderfully and every time I would go and come staff were always so helpful and friendly! That makes such a difference. From storing my luggage to showing me where I can find on site amenities - I felt so comfortable and welcome! My room was so modern, clean and fully equipped with everything I needed for my 3 night stay. Super quiet as well which is quite rare wirhin UK and thin walls. I had the best nights sleep every night and the water pressure was also perfect!! I want to thank the staff soooo much for being so incredibly caring and accommodating. I will definitely be back!

Great apartment with good connection to city centre

The apartment was very nice. A kitchenette, a big room, a table for work and a great bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We transportation towards the city centre was very easy. Only 2min walk to bus and tram. We would come back.

Our stay was amazing! We have only one small comment of improvement: either adding the ability to open the windows all the way, or installing an aircon. It was quite warm in the room all the time. But we are not too much disappointed:) we made it work:)

Pleasant stay

Location was convenient and we enjoyed the breakfast options.

The bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky because of the thin mattress we could feel almost every spring. The room could also use some more hanging hooks on the walls.

Great location, really accommodating staff, lots of room for improvement but still good value

Breakfast was good, a lot of options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. WiFi was good. TV location over the bed was good. Nice kitchen facilities. Nice shower, decent power and good space for putting shower things on shelf. Location was great, near the shops etc.

Some more hot food options for breakfast would have been nicer. The door closing mechanisms were very annoying, they should have something to slow it down before it closes, instead of slamming shut all the time. The toilets should have the slow closing seats as well, so they don't slam down when you have to close them to flush the toilet. Two chairs by the desk would have been better than just the one, so we could both eat in the room together at the table. Shower should have had anti-slip stuff in it, would have been nice for a bath mat to have been provided to step on to when coming out of the shower.

Campus pretending to be hotel

RRoom had a smallkichen and that was nice

Its a campus that is rentet to hotel guests.Poor breakfast ,no WiFi or you have to sign in to some phone company,students playing receptionist,no cleaning on daily basis,area didnt look safe .Well i will not stay here again.

JOIVY VITA

The location and accomodation was great.

The staff were doing their best, but they were very short staffed. Breakfast was disorganised. No cutlery plates etc then food ran out. Our tv didnt work till 2nd day. We had to keep going to ask for supplies that were meant to be in room. We went to the local pub from 4pm - 6pm as they were so busy with check ins from 3pm.. No parking on site.

Not good at all. Lot of improvements are needed by the staff/organizers

Quite spacious and location was good

None of the facilities mentioned in the booking.com website were given in the room. - tv didnt connect with wifi - no kitchenware in the room, so it was a trouble for us to have dinner - ironing facilities & hairdryer was mot in room (they said its given only if requested) - bedroom door had seperate card swiping lock. So every time you get out to the next sitting room or toilet you have to carry the card otherwise it will be locked (no separate card provided by authorities) - room was not properly cleaned after the previous tenants check out. Even after the next day request nothing was done - they shouldn’t provide breakfast (its quite basic and I saw they were not able to handle the rush when things were emptying, they dont even provide egg in the breakfast) - coffee machine is only at reception, you cannot brew your own with the small machine at your room - no electric kettle in the room - no cloth hangers - only one towel was provided whereas it was two of us staying - bathroom or toilet door was also not in good condition Overall our stay was horrible. We just had to manage and were counting days to go back home. We tried to be as polite as possible with the staffs but based on the booking.com ad, we were almost given nothing, hence We deserve some refund

Horrible place, avoid at all cost.

Extremely bad stay. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Dont stay here, period. To start with we had to wait for quite some time to get our room. The lady at the front desk had our reservation and it was way beyond the checkin time (arnd 5:30 pm) so the room shld have been ready but she kept saying tht somebody has gome to chk the room & so we will hv to wait. She could not even congirm if the room was a e-bedroom 3 bath room which was vety important to us & which i kept asming her abt. Basically she was clueless and they did not hv their act together. The worst nightmare was when at about 1:45 am in the night, we saw a man & woman in our room hallway! We were speechless & petrified. The guy had the room for one more night but the hotel front desk staff had checled them out 1 night early & had not deactivated their key!!! Unbelievable!! So these 2 ppl just turn up in our unit, cant speak english & are looking for their red bag. They even wanted to enter the room where we had youngsters from our grp sleeping!!! We somehow got them to leave & rushed downstairs to have it out w the hltel staff. In the lobby we find a raucus going on w the whole checkout situation w this grp a completely mess, the guys bag having been opened & his shoes stuffed inside!!! We just cldnt believe whst we were experiencing, it was so totally bizarre!! We expressed our grievances to which the staff had nothing to say but agree & inform us that they were trying to gigure out what happened. We went back to our unit & bolted each room. The next day we spoke w the mngr abt this incident again, and were veru clear & stern about our disssatisfaction w the running of the place. We also comfirmed that they had us down for 2 nites to avoid more intruders that night. The breakfast area was packed & just crappy. Overall very bad plc to stay, AVOID this if u can. No wonder review went from 8 to 4 in a matter of 2-3 days. I would give this a 1.

Mülleimer im Bad wäre super gewesen. Der Mülleimer im Zimmer hat gestunken. Das Fenster konnte man nicht schließen und obwohl wir das bei der Rezeption gemeldet haben und sie jemanden schicken wollte kam nie jemand!!!!!

Großes Potential, aber Wartung und Kundenservice sind katastrophal.

Die Lage war sehr gut, das Fringe war einfach zu erreichen. Drum herum gibt es viele kleine Cafés und Geschäfte, die Straßenbahn ist direkt um die Ecke.

Der Zustand unserer Wohnung war katastrophal: Einzelne Lichter gingen nicht, es gab nicht mal so genügend Besteck und Teller für die Anzahl der Gäste und vor allem lief regelmäßig Wasser aus der Wand. Das Wasser wurde vom Anbieter einfach nur weg gewischt, lief aber kontinuierlich weiter aus der Wand, so dass wir Möbel aus dem Weg räumen und die Nutzung bestimmter Steckdosen vermeiden musste. Beschwerden beim Anbieter werden ignoriert, erst booking.com konnte zumindest eine minimale Rückerstattung erreichen.

Emplacement pas loin du centre d’Edimbourg. Apparemment grand.

Le manque de vaisselle : 5 tasses pour 6 personnes, 2 couteaux, 3 petites cuillères. Le ménage pas vraiment fait à notre arrivée, canapé plein de miettes, vaisselle sale dans le LV.

une belle adresse pour un séjour parfait

l'emplacement : à 2 pas du tram qui fait la liaison de l'aéroport à l'océan; le quartier Leith est à proximité du centre ville qu'on peut rejoindre à pied ou en bus/tram. Le petit déjeuner était parfait : avec des viennoiseries, plusieurs sortes de pains, pour se faire des sandwichs, des fruits frais variés (banane, raisins, pommes, poires, mandarines), du jus de fruits, de l'eau aromatisé avec du concombre et une machine à café qui mout sur place le café !

par moments j'ai ressenti une légère gêne liée à une odeur d'égout dans la chambre. Aussi, je laissais la fenêtre entre ouverte le soir.

Poco onboarding y cama mejorable

Desayuno incluido. Y apartamento moderno y suficientemente amplio. Vistas a la catedral nada más salir.

La cama era muy incómoda, de muelles? Las primeras noches pudimos descansar pero las últimas la espalda y los riñones no podían más. Tampoco hubo un buen onboarding, en ningún momento nos dijeron "el desayuno será a esta hora, la tarjeta sirve para esto, el gimnasio x, etc nada".

Geweldige plek om paar dagen Edinburg vanuit te ontdekken

Het gebouw is nieuw gebouwd waardoor alles modern en strak is ingericht. Alles was aanwezig: borden, bakjes, bestek, oven, pannen, inductie plaat. Klein maar fijn!

Monolocale essenziale, ma ordinato, pulito e di buona dimensione. Colazione a disposizione e distributore di bevande calde di libero utilizzo in qualsiasi momento della giornata.

Nonostante nella cucina ci fossero piatti e pentole a disposizione mancavano spugna e detersivo per lavarli. Inoltre non abbiamo trovato carta igienica al nostro arrivo.

Buena ubicación, bien comunicado con el centro por tranvía y bus.

Es una residencia de estudiantes, no un hotel. Lo cobran a precio de hotel y no ofrecen los servicios de este. Falta de personal y mala organización. Para desayunar había que bajar los cubiertos y menaje de la habitación, recoger la mesa y subirlos de nuevo. Mucho tiempo para reponer cosas que se acababan durante el desayuno. Una sola cafetera para todo el ‘hotel ‘. Cama pequeña para dos personas y colchón de muelles muy incómodo. Limpieza insuficiente, en cuatro días de estancia solo uno hicieron la cama y no limpiaron nada.

Funktionellt, rent och fräscht boende med allt du behöver inklusive frukostbuffé!

Helt ok frukostbuffé. Det fylldes på hela tiden så det tog aldrig slut. Lite stökigt runt omkring kunde det bli och inte direkt ngn stans att sitta så vi tog med frukosten till rummet. Boendet är nytt så det är helt, rent och fräscht. Mycket hjälpsam personal. Nära till bussar och spårvagn. Gångavstånd till det mesta i Edinburgh.

Finns egentligen ingenting dåligt med boendet men det är ett studentboende så bilderna när man bokar är lite missvisande. Vi hade två rum och kök/allrum som då är en avdelad korridor med dessa rum. Inga andra i denna korridor men dock en korridor.

Bien, pero les falta organizarse

Los estudios son muy completos y el complejo está bien ubicado. Cerca hay parada de bus y de tren y en 20’ estás en el centro.

Las camas son muy incómodas y la organización del desayuno deja bastante que desear. Hay que bajar el menaje de la habitación para poder servirte el desayuno y suele haber bastante cola para el café ya que solo hay una cafetera. El resto del desayuno está bien. Otro punto negativo es que solo hay un ascensor para muchísimas personas y a menudo la única opción es la escalera.
